How To Get Rid of Acne and Acne Help

Yes, getting rid of acne has been a breeze for me, but what hasn't been so easy to get rid of have been my blackheads. I have a lot on my nose and some around it and on my chin. I also have some on my forehead. My cheeks are clear though. (phew) Now that acne isn't such a pain anymore, my blackheads have become far more noticeable!! So, I did some research. Apparently black soap for blackheads seems to work! African Black Soap. But does it really? Is it as gentle and effective as everyone says it is? And what about baking soda? Is it just as good for blackheads? I have sensitive skin so I don't want it to cause flakiness and redness. Does anyone have anything to say about these two methods? And if not, do you have a more effective method for ridding yourself of blackheads? (I'd prefer at-home and natural remedies. I'm not that big on buying treatments that don't work). I need your help!

Sincerely,

All over the internet, I have seen a lot of buzz around benzoyl peroxide.

about 5 or 6 months ago I was using a 10% benzoyl peroxide soap that I had purchased a while back. At first, I found that it actually helped, and I used the bar on my face and body. However, last summer, while using the soap bar, I noticed some redness along the sides and around my nose. Thinking that everything was normal and I was washing my face too much, I continued using the soap. Huge mistake. Some time after, tremendous irritation and inflammation occurred along my sensitive skin areas. (on my face.) Soon, my skin started to flake and peel. It didn't bleed at all, but instead released some type of clear liquid. Nothing like puss. It was absolutely disgusting. My face looked horrible, as if I had rosacea. Jacked up rosacea. Pretty soon, I had myself an acne scar to rule them all. Yep. I stayed indoors a whole two months. So this scar never went away. Until....

I was looking in the kitchen cabinet for some spices when I noticed coconut oil/butter in a vintage jar. I decided to research it a little more, and what I found was awesome. It apparently helped with acne and especially with acne scarring. And it moisturized! There were also other benefits but they had no relation to acne. It seemed perfect! (for my skin, it sucked as a food product. No sweetness whatsoever!)

I used it and in about a week, acne scar was gone. and I don't mean sorta gone but still faintly showing, I mean

OUTTA HERE! It was some kinda miracle. I had no idea how, but I felt like I needed to share it with someone. So I gave it to my grandma. She ate it. Anyway, now I always keep some handy. On my counter. In a 54 oz. plastic container. Which costed 16 dollars. Of course you can get it cheaper and in smaller amounts. It is just amazing!

Also, I have no idea why the benzoyl peroxide did this to me. Anyone share a similar experience? Hope this helped.

Sincerely,

Acne sucks. Pure and simple. And most people pay tons of money to rid themselves of it, and in the end, find that none of it works. I'm going to tell you how to rid yourself of acne for very little money. It will work!

First, here are some helpful tips:

1. Some people who constantly take care of their face and keep the breakouts tend to get envious when they see people with clear skin. You may have acne due to genetics. If this is the case, then the acne shouldn't last very long after puberty. Just know that those people are either wearing make up, have great genes, or have just been doing everything right. You have been doing everything right too, but genetics can be a pain in the butt. Just use these people to push yourself forward and motivate you.

2. Touching your face is one of the absolute WORST things you can do when you have acne. It just makes it worse! Wash your hands frequently and if it is that bad, wear clean gloves. Just please limit yourself to the touching.

3. Puberty causes acne to increase, so don't be surprised if your acne gets worse or just won't go away during this time. It's the hormones!

4. If you have bangs covering your forehead, you can get a lot of pimples there. Place the hair out of your face.

5. Don't overdo it! Wash your face once in the morning and once at night. You could dry out your skin if you wash too much and trick your face into producing even more of these little demons!

6. Wear some concealer on bad days, but remember to always wash off make up before bed. Going to bed with make up is terrible for acne!

7. Don't let acne ruin your life. Just take it one day at a time and calm down.

How to treat acne:

The simplest way to treat acne is by washing your face each morning and at night with glycerin soap (which you can get at any dollar store) or a beauty bar. Try going for Silk beauty bar. That has helped me A LOT. Also, coconut oil/butter is amazing for acne!

It moisturizes and clears acne. Use these things together and voila! No acne. Just remember to follow the tips. And, if you ever need to pop one of those crazy volcanoes on your face, please use a kleenex or a metal tool from any beauty store. (I got mine from Sephora). And disinfect after! I know a lot of you are thinking that it's too good to be true but you have to try it!

Post any comments and feedback in the comments section.
