Keeping a list of previous products and their ingredients so I know what ingredients I can safely use.
Loved the Dove Deep Moisture facial lotion with spf 15 even though it was for dry skin. Never caused a problem and made my skin so awesome. Had green tea in it, too! They discontinued it.
I ngredients

8 Weeks Off Epuris

epuris, accutane, aczone

Thought I'd give a short little update on my progress. I was on Epuris from November 2014 until mid-February 2015. I stopped my treatment about 20 days before I was supposed to, because I just couldn't do it anymore. My mental state was just not... the best during these months. It was probably unrelated to the medication, but I believe that the medication...

Hey everyone!
I really, really, really wish I had tried this regimen before resorting to Accutane last year, which didn't even cure my acne because it didn't target my face enough and didn't solve my problem of hormonal acne.
Today was Day 24 of my regimen! My skin is doing SO well. Honestly, it's pretty crazy how much can change in ju...

Where to start... I am a 19 year old female (almost 20), living in a lovely green town in the North of England. My life mainly consists of playing netball, going to the gym, studying to be a health professional at university, winding up my boyfriend and drinking wine on the weekend with my friends. On paper my life sounds pretty tickety boo, however, my w...

Accutane Prep

Posted by piano36 in piano36's Blog, 14 April 2015 · 28 views

Idk if anyone is going to be reading this, but I thought it would be good for me to document my accutane experience either way. I am a 17 year old girl and I've had acne since the beginning of middle school very mildly, but it has gotten much worse in the past few months. It is still only categorized as moderate acne at most, but I have many black heads a...

Am I ever anything but?  I have the biggest cystic blind pimple under my chin.  If I as much as turn my head, it hurts.  The last one that was definitely smaller than this lasted 21 days before finally fully deflating.  I don't want to have to deal with this for a month.

I am also getting some deep stuff on my temples on both sides.  Hair? Grease?  Who k...

Hmm interesting stuff, so you know i have been taking Accutane here and there for the past 5 months, though only of two months supply. Had to end it early because of side effects and stuff. So i have 5 pills left, i took five pills 3 weeks ago and my skin has remained dry. Usually i would stop taking it for two weeks and oil would return.

Accutane-Week 11 & 12 (3 Months!)

Posted by l9germaine in l9germaine's Blog, 10 April 2015 · 44 views

As I was on vacation I missed two blog entries!
I am now at the 3 month mark. Although I am not completely in the clear yet there has been significant improvement. I keep looking back at one particular picture to remind myself of how far I've come and how much improvement there has been! I am very happy with how the progress has been going.

Day 8

Posted by LexiGunn in Journey to clear skin, 10 April 2015 · 26 views

Finally past that first week mark.
My skin is definitely improving on my cheeks, the spots are becoming less red and inflamed. Although I woke up this morning with a little breakout on my forehead, but it is nothing to noticeable - to be honest I'm not to worried about the spots on my forehead, mostly on my cheeks is where I feel most vulnerable....

Side Effects After First Treatment The day after my first treatment I did not notice any redness, peeling, or breakouts.

The third day after my face did peel (all over) but so minor and slightly that you couldn't even really notice it.

Along the fourth/fifth day I did notice the breaking out symptoms they talked about. I got one pimple on my left cheek and four small pimples along my ja...

Day 44

Hello my beauts! So day 44 of this journey and well the dryness around my eyes is just unreal. I don't know if last time I mentioned that I got an eye cream but that isn't even working for me! It's all super red and flaky and itchy. Just plain unpleasant really.
My face is healing up quite a bit since the last awful breakout. There is about 4 spots...

What To Learn From Two Acne Treatment Books

Posted by BraveAcneWarrior in BraveAcneWarrior's Blog, 04 April 2015 · 55 views

What To Learn From Two Acne Treatment Books I recently ran into two books about curing acne from our local library book shelf. I would love to share some of my thoughts on these books and maybe you will want to check them out yourself.
First one is called The acne prescription by Nicholas Perricone.  The second one is called The acne cure by Terry J.Dubrow and Brenda D.Adderly.

I haven't been writing because there's nothing new to report. My skin is starting to get better again after my gross hormonal (perhaps an "initial") breakout. Hoping that I won't get another one this month. My side effects are about the same or better, except for the dryness on my face and lips, which seems to be a little worse.

It's still weird to me h...

Current Routine

Randomly popped by.
I started wearing makeup.... God, a year ago? Longer? Since then, was oil cleansing to remove the makeup, and this is what contributed to my skin issues. The oil itself is totally fine, not an issue, but the removal process  was effing with my skin. Wash cloths are a huge no-no, cotton pads were better but still caused issues ov...

So, officially day 3 of my 30 day no pick challenge. didn't make it around to post, so I'll catch you all up. Day 1&2 were pretty rough emotionally. The wounds were so deep, looked like I got attacked. Couldn't bare going outside or seeing anyone. I eventually had to get out though, and makeup took about an hour. still pretty gross though. acne regimen

I haven't posted in a long while, mainly because my skin hasn't really been an issue. Took a lot of time of trial and error to figure out what works for my skin. I still don't have perfectly clear skin, I probably never will, but I'm okay with that. What I have found key to keeping my skin clearer is using a chemical exfoliater with continued use of benzo...

pcos, low-carb, sugar, cardio

I got my results from my ultrasound from my doctor today. The findings are consistent with PCOS, but the changes are mild so a definitive diagnosis of PCOS can't be given. My doctor told me the best things to do if I have PCOS are heavy cardio workouts, low carb diet and stay away from sugary foods. If my periods continue to get longer, I will go back and...

So about a month ago I broke out all around my chin. I'm in my 30's so this came as a surprise. Well, anyway. I am on a mission to get it cleared up.
When I begin the regimin, my acne was really bad all over my face especially on my chin and really inflamed and itchy.
