Diagnosis

Posted by CiciBabyGirl in Trying Natural, 31 March 2015 · 7 views
pcos, low-carb, sugar, cardio

I got my results from my ultrasound from my doctor today. The findings are consistent with PCOS, but the changes are mild so a definitive diagnosis of PCOS can't be given. My doctor told me the best things to do if I have PCOS are heavy cardio workouts, low carb diet and stay away from sugary foods. If my periods continue to get longer, I will go back and...

Week 14 (Day 100)

Posted by leelowe1 in To Acne with no love, 30 March 2015 · 18 views

100 days on any regimen is a major milestone!  I can't believe I've been on this journey for that long.  Anyway, here is this weeks recap.

It's the week before my period and I am breaking out but not in a way that makes me want to run and hide.  My inner left cheek is the issue and the bumps are red and somewhat inflamed but not deep in the skin at all (...

My Struggle

Posted by roadtohappiness in NO MORE PICKING, 30 March 2015 · 17 views

Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to this site, but I've been inspired lately by everyone else's struggle. No matter how alone I feel, I know I'm not. I have picked for about 4 years now, and in the past year it has been severe. Not until recently has it come to my attention that it is an actual disorder which is also the root of my depression on occasion....

Great Product! 2 Thumbs Up!

Posted by LadyLee in LadyLee's Blog, 29 March 2015 · 26 views

I've been using the regimen going on 4 weeks now.... I am very impressed with the results so far.

I will encourage anyone who's thinking about trying this product or  just started, to try it & do not to give up on it.

It will get worse before it gets better but trust me it's worth the process!! I can truly see that I'm on my way to clear skin for...

Update, Spearmint And Adding Some New Things

Posted by glitznzits in Taking Your Beauty Seriously, 29 March 2015 · 26 views

The spearmint thing is real! I got super busy and lazy with drinking my tea and my skin went NUTS. I hadn't had a cyst in weeks and I woke up with 4! It also threw my period off, from 28 to 34 days from going a week without the tea. definitely consistency is key with it, but at least i know it is doing something!! Back on that regimen for sure. ...

Derm Appt. - Finally A New Direction To Take

Posted by Mels23 in Mels23's Blog, 28 March 2015 · 39 views

Finally got to see the dermatologist after about 5 months. I went to a different clinic under the same guy, but I saw a different PA. She was pretty nice and thorough in her questions. Basically said that I did indeed have many clogged pores, lots of hyperpigmentation and scarring, with lots of pimples, and, uhh.. that I should have made an appointment ea...

Accutane-Week 10 (Getting There!)

Posted by l9germaine in l9germaine's Blog, 27 March 2015 · 44 views

Week 10...

Had a friend tell me that she could really notice my skin clearing. I almost cried. What an amazing thing to hear.

There has definitely been a lot more progress since week 9. I have a couple of small spots on my right side but they're small and bearable compared to what it used to look like. They still come out, which is annoying...

My Third Month Of Claravis

Posted by OrangePill in OrangePill's Blog, 22 March 2015 · 64 views

I'm about a week into my third month on Claravis.  I used to be super oily all the time.  Photos with flashes would reflect off me, I'd see myself in mirrors with a shine, it was terrible.  Now I rarely notice oil.  It's 3pm on a Sunday and I haven't showered or even washed my face since last night, and I'm not oily.  It's night a...

Day 30 - Morning

Posted by banana96 in Banana's roaccutane journey, 22 March 2015 · 67 views

OK, so bad news, I have a cold - which sucks pretty hard right now. And since I had a headache, I wasn't sure whether or not I could take a painkiller for it so I just decided not to. It just came on Friday randomly. To make matters worse, my lips have been super dry these past two days when I wake up. They feel super weird right now - kinda soft but peel...

Hey guys! This is my first post here so I'll get straight to it! I'm currently on accutane and have about a month or 2 to go of my 5-6 month treatment. Taking 40mg morning and 20mg every other night.
Have all the basic symptoms but I was wondering does anyone else wake up in the morning and literally have to peel off their lips?!?!? Yes? no? maybe so?!?!?...

Day 30 - Womp Womp Hey folks! Thought I'd update you on my progress. Two steps forward, one step back, I guess. I was all happy about how clear my skin was, and then my face decided to get one of the worst breakouts I've had in a while. Thank you time of the month. The photo attached is from a few days ago... trust me, it's even worse now. I have huge whiteheads all around...

accutane, acne, treatment and 4 more...

Right I've been on this drug for 1 week now, and my experience has changed drastically over such a short period of time. In the first few days I noticed the side effects of dry skin, eyes and lips- but these were very minimal. A few days later, the lips are not really an issue, but my skin! that is a different story altogether. Whenever I apply my cleanse...

Posted by Endyamori in Endyamori's Blog, 16 March 2015 · 372 views

I'm new to this site so I've also created a forum topic with this same information as well. I'd really like to control my acne more effectively and also help someone else while doing it.

I am 26 years old and, since the age of 12, I have had acne. My acne has gone through different stages as I've gotten older... from mild to severe... back to mild....
