The Truth About Medical Treatments You Must Know I know some people would raise their eyebrows every time they hear me say “forget about the medical products” when it comes to acne. But that is the truth; acne is a very simple condition that can really be treated naturally. Some doctors would not tell their clients but as a nurse who has been with so many doctors, talked with them, worked with them I realized important facts in the field of medicine and its connection with the field of commerce. Again, I will say this over and over, when it comes to acne natural remedies is the only perfect solution. Now let’s get to the middle of this. Did you know that the first three things your doctor will advise are the following:

1st – Topical ointments like lotions, anti acne creams and gels.

2nd- Oral antibiotics such as Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Tetracycline and whatever oral antibiotics your doctor recommends. This is usually given to those with mild to moderate acne condition.

3rd- This is the last recourse which is the Isotretinoin – This is the popularly know Accutane which is said to be for severe acne condition!

Now let me go straight to the bottom of this and point out the negative effects these drugs could do to you. Did you know that the manufacturer of accutane which is Swiss drugmaker Roche Holding AG have been battling with so many lawsuits against people who suffered greatly with accutane? The company even lost 6 lawsuits out of 6 filed cases! If they produced a drug safe enough then I’m sure they wouldn’t really lost all 6 cases right? Do you want to end up one of these people who filed a case?
What are other negative causes of accutane? Well, back in 2004 there’s this study that showed that those people who took this drug had shown significant decreased activity in their frontal brain for about 21%. Why! Please wake up and don’t be fooled by the TEMPORARY results your current medical treatments are giving you.

How about antibiotics? Did you know that although this drug kills the bad bacteria that cause your acne it also kills along with it the good or beneficial bacteria you have. These friends will possibly cause you a yeast infection and later on even develop antibiotic resistance. That is why most doctors would resort to only a limited time use of antibiotic to ensure that resistance won’t be developed. Let’s take for example Erythromycin, did you know that this antibiotic can cause damage to your teeth or skeleton? Doxycycline on the other hand is also associated with issues to photosensitivity. Minocycline however can cause pigmentation on your precious skin! Which is often found on acne scars.

My point here is, medical treatments won’t really address your acne problems. I will tell you a great holistic approach to eventually get rid of your acne on my next write up. I hope this has enlightened you if you are planning to resort to medical treatments. Still, at the end of the day it is YOU who will decide. Take care of your body and be wise enough to know which is good and not for your over health!

What you fail to mention is that probiotics are cheap and readily available. I eat yogurt and drink kefir; both of which are loaded with live cultures of beneficial bacteria. Antibiotics work at clearing up nasty infections in the pores. Medical research is light years ahead of naturalpathic pseudo cures. Benzaclin is proven to reduce lesions (pimples). Benzoyl peroxide mixed with clindamycin is very beneficial topical and cleared my skin greatly. Vitamins and supplements don't cure acne and they never will. Medications do work and should be used vigorously. I also note that you have not yet mentioned what any of these "natural" cures are. Are you afraid that people will try them, discover they don't work and ignore you anti-medication ranting? (takes gloves off...)

Hello Amoxilworx, thanks for your comment I'm glad that in some way I have intrigued you with my secret natural remedies. First of all, I am not ranting and maybe you can call it a concern to all those who are suffering from acne and have tried medical treatments that honestly didn't work for several years of use. You are lucky to have an insurance as you said and can afford to buy 6 different medical products just to get your skin clear. Still, we all know that life dependency on drugs? C'mon... Anyway, I still respect your opinion and hope you will too to mine. Also, as I mentioned before, not all people have the same reactions to drugs, some are sensitive and may manifest different reactions. If you feel that medical treatments cured you, then let it be that's good to know. However, I am a firm believer that the products you're using at some point in your life will really take a toll on your health. I understand you are probably ranting and in disbelief why I am against medical products to treat acne when it made your skin look good, my dear if you have the money to spend then feel free. We all have our rights and opting for natural remedies is one of those rights especially if medical treatments have fail for several times. Thanks :-)

Hello Amoxilworx, I am not up for a challenge but eventually you will see on my next write up about the remedies I am proud of and would love to share to other acne sufferers who have been let down by medical treatments. I am respecting the opinion and decisions of people, they can either have the medical treatments or they can have the natural ones. In my views and opinion, natural is way better than medical in certain cases. Again I will reiterate, not all acne sufferers have good experiences using medical treatments, now would you still insist on them to take medical treatments? I am a proponent of "holistic approach" which I'm sure most Doctors prefer except if they need to promote a product. Now, strep throat is far way different from acne. I also don't understand why you want to comment on my blogs proving that medical treatments is way better, if so then write it on your blog and don't take it out here. be professional enough to respect the views and opinions of others. Not because I don't agree with you hence you will keep on commenting negative opinions and challenge people. In terms of pharmacology, yes I have a background in terms of medicine and I don't have to brag about it. You see, I value people like you and your opinion that is why up until now I never remove or blocked you. Now, why don't you spend your time finding people who would love to read of what you have got to say, right? In that way you will also have an outlet of your emotions regarding the medical treatments for acne. My dear, my blog doesn't insist you scrap your regimen. I am stating facts, if accutane is great then I'm sure they wouldn't have to battle 6 lawsuits and all battles lost. It only proves that the different juries found something in this drug that is not healthy at all. Don't worry and please be patient, I will soon write another blog and I will dedicate it to you. Now, please be professional enough and stop harassing the blogs of other people, you can comment all you want but never go below the belt and challnege people. If you know that your opinion is the truth then be it, you don't have to challenge anyone. Again, write your own blog and pour all your sentiments there, I'm sure there would be a lot of acne sufferers who would like to try your recommended drugs. Thank you again for taking your time to comment and reading my write ups.

*sigh* whatever...

i'd be pleased if u stop asking people to avoid medications and instead focus on ur cure,

its pointless saying anything against any other form unless u have anything solid in ur store,

i believe in diet-acne connection and maintain a balanced diet which is nutrious and healhy for acne and over all health and also believe in use of natural stuff like yogurt (lactic acid) and lemon juice(citric acid) etc

so its not like science and natural stuff dnt go hand in hand.

any medicine may have big or small side effect but sometimes its the only way one can treat their issues,

its great if natural methods work but sadly, thats not the case all the time!
