Heyo!
I mustered up the courage back in the fall of 2010 to admit that I had a problem with my acne. Back then, I had pretty low self-esteem and was just trying to get through life and college.
I started the regimen about a year and a half ago and have been pretty consistent with it. I also decided to stop letting my acne hold me back and I started taking control and going out, enjoying life.
I had the "fake it till you make it" mentality and it helped me gain some confidence. I feel that I've made progress with my acne, but there is much more I can do.
I drink more water than anyone I know. I keep my sheets and pillow covers clean (change them about 2-3 times a month). I try hard to avoid greasy, oily food, but I can be better. I sleep well and the general stress in my life is pretty low. I'm much more confident and happy these days than I was two years ago.
I'm finally at a place in life where I'm comfortable. Now I need to make my acne a bigger priority and get the healthy vibrant skin I desire.
Talk soon,
Derek
