Acne Scarring!

My advice? Don't worry about it, your beautiful as is. They will go away with time.

So you are saying, pitted scars do eventually go away?

No problem, I know exactly how you feel, but trust me you are your worst enemy. People tell me all the time how handsome I am but I jus don't see it. It takes another persons point of view to judge how you really look, cuz all you see an focus on are the imperfections. I personally don't see anything wrong with you, your an extremely pretty girl and you shouldn't tell yourself otherwise. As for the scars, it depends on how deep they are, the deeper they are the longer they take to heal but yes, eventually they will go away. I might be wrong here but skin is kinda like shark teeth, eventually the outer layers will disapear as the new layers are growing in. If it really bothers you that much you can talk to your derm about filling them in, but I wouldn't stress about it, like I said before, no one notices them but you.

I know what you mean by that. Your initial thought is --they have to feel so unbelievably sorry for me to go out of their way to tell me I'm pretty or that I look good.

 

I know that's just negative thinking getting the best of me.. but you'd probably understand that every day is different. Sometimes I can live with my scarring and choose to be confident and then there's other days when I could literally just give up.

 

This picture doesnt really do much justice for my scarring as I have on make up. (Which I have rebelled against now!) and I have accumulated more since then.

 

I do appreciate you though. It's nice to talk to some one who actually understands.

It's crazy you mention that, that's exactly how I feel anytime someone says I look good, like wow i'm so ugly people feel they should go out of their way to tell me i'm not. But yeah I know what you mean, yesterday I was actually somewhat happy for the first time in a long time, but today I jus felt super self-concious. It's gotta be a hormonal thing. Anyways you can add me if you want, it's not too easy to jus bring up something as nasty as acne in conversation lol. No one really understands unless they've went through it. My mom cared for a bit before she decided i'm going crazy and my dad straight told me i'm being a pussy bitch, so I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to either.
