I thought I would create this as a way to possibly see if there are others out there like me struggling with this condition. I am a 22 year old male...ive had this condition id say for about 10 years now. I was on Accutane when I was in high school and had a painful experience, so I went off it thinking the pain wasn't worth it. As of right now I am very fit, I like to jog alot and work on my core. Also I am a pescatarian. I don't expect others to agree with this statement - but as a young gay person, you want to go out, be seen, live life, and love yourself. But I find it hard to do that especially when its covered with....THIS. Im glad I found this site as a place of refuge.

I am glad you feel this is a safe place to air your thoughts about being gay and having zits and so on. I had severe nodular cystic acne for years and amoxil and cephalexin are two antibiotics that worked very well for me. I live in MN and our state legislature has just introduced a bill to legalize gay marriage. I support it 100%. Last year one nasty Republican put an amendment to our state constitution that would have permanently prohibited gay marriage. I voted against it. I support gay civil rights whole heartedy just like our president Obama does. I follow his lead. Best wishes from a fellow acne sufferer (although I barely have acne anymore)
