I'm thinking it may just be you getting used to the drug at this point. Just a speculation.

Don't worry, you will most definitely see an improvement! If you don't see it now, you will eventually. Everyone's skin/body reacts different. Just give it some time you will see it working in a few weeks time.

I had the same thing happen to me on previous courses. I thought it wasn't working too, but then all the gunk from my pores started to come out and my skin got very sensitive and thin. That's when I knew it was working

Forgot to ask.. How do you take accutane? Do you take it with food?

I believe accutane is fat soluble. And I read that some people take it with greasy food.

Last time I took accutane, I took it with breakfast and a teaspoon of olive oil (so gross lol). Olive oil is good for you and good for keeping skin supple at least lol.
I can't say for sure but maybe doing that increased absorption too.

I'll give it a try... anything is worth a try to help make it work! I just can't wait to not break out anymore so I can hopefully get these acne scars under control... that's my main problem is the scarring /

I usually take my first pill of the day with my lunch which varies daily as far as what i eat. My second pill I take before bed so whatever is in my stomach from the day... i'm going to try the olive oil too!

Yes your body can adapt to some of the side effects. Such as my cholesterol, it got lower and lower even when I'm on double dose. However some side effects get worse. My lips and eyes need frequent moisturizing.
