Spiro Day 80, Tretinoin Day 69
spironolactone tretinoin
I've finally posted some update photos. They're not the best quality, but I will post some good ones when I reach the 3 month mark. My chin area is doing GREAT!!! I haven't had any cysts in that area for a few weeks and it is such a relief. My cheeks are so-so. I had a big picking battle last week and think are starting to heal up. I have a few bumps on my right cheek and the rest that you see is just hyperpigmentation. Honestly, I'm really happy with it all. It used to feel like I woke up every single day with at least one new blemish, but it hasn't been that way for awhile know and I no longer feel like my patience is wearing thin. I credit all of the improvements to the spironolactone. I am still wary of the Tretinoin and have cut back my usage to every other night. I think a lot of the breakouts that I had in the last 2 months were caused by it. I really wish I would have waited a full 3 months before starting it. Anyways, 10 more days until I'm at month 3 and I'm very pleased!!!

Is there any reason you can't add an antibiotic to the list? I know my old dermatologist wanted me to stop amoxil and go solely on spironolactone but the spiro gave me bizarre head rushes and I was light headed upon standing. I don't think spiro is good for me. I am not saying your skin looks bad or that you have'nt seen improvement, (how would I know?) But, I think a strong antibiotic would clear your face! Good luck.
