Hi!

So just wanted to post an update on my skin care routine - I last wrote about the recent switch I made from Murad to Peter Thomas Roth, both of which are skin care lines found in Sephora. I'm loving the Peter Thomas Roth line, with the only downside being that it isn't a cheep thing to buy. Judging by the past week of use, I can pretty much estimate that it will for sure last me at least 2 months. As I've written previously, I will always spend extra on my face, since it's honestly the biggest confidence booster to have clear skin.

I last posted about the four PTR products that I had purchased, and I can safely say I love them all - except for the moisturizer. It's an oil free one, but I found that the Glycolic Acid in the toner and the gel treatment dried out my skin a bit so, I needed a moisturizer that packed a bit more of a punch. Now this is the tricky part for me, and I assume anyone else out there with problem skin. You can't just use any moisturizer because more often than not, it might just break you out. Since this was the opposite of what I wanted, I did a bit of research and exchanged the PTR moisturizer, for an Origins moisturizer, also available at Sephora. If you are wondering, no I am not some paid spokes person - i've gotten those kind of comments before. Honestly, I'm 21, just want to keep track of my skins progress online and maybe (hopefully) help someone else out. That's the honest truth. Now that's out of the way...

I did a lot of research into moisturizers - both drug store brands, and higher price point ones. This Origins moisturizer was rated so highly, and 4/5 reviews I read mentioned how it didn't break them out. Which is exactly what I was looking for. It's called Origins 'Make a Difference + Plus, Rejuvenating Treatment'.

So this is my first night of using the new moisturizing treatment, on top of the Peter Thomas Roth products. I will let you all know how it goes in case you are also on the hunt for a great moisturizer. I can tell you right now from first impressions, it feels great - it isn't oily or has any kind of heavy feeling. You know how some products just 'sit' on your face and you feel really oily and gross...this isn't one of them. With all the great reviews online, I'm expecting it to be great so, let's just hope it lives up to the hype!!

Night!!
