Right, so over a year ago, my doctor prescribed me Retin-a and Doxycycline. My acne was moderate, so it took awhile for my skin to clear up. Then finally after six months of waiting, my skin was completely clear! I had beautiful clear skin for around nine months. But then I stopped using both Retin-a and Doxycycline because I had clear skin. Honestly, that was one of the most stupidest mistakes I've ever made in my life. My face went completely downhill once I stopped Retin-a and Doxycycline.
So now, I'm back on Retin-a and Doxycycline. I just started both on 31 July 2012. But this time, I'm also on birth control. My doctor put me on Tri- Sprintec, which is a generic name of Ortho Tri-Cyclen I believe. I started taking the birth control approximately ten days ago. So obviously, I'm crossing my fingers that all goes well with this combination!!
