regimen benzoyl peroxide gel moisturizer cleanser acne blackheads
Greetings! About a week ago I recieved the Acne.Org regimen products in the mail (Cleanser, Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, and Moisturizer) . Unfortunately, I was unable to use them immediately, having just gotten over an Impetigo infection. Just this morning I have started following the regimen, and I have decided to start taking note of what I am seeing.
The cleanser leaves my face feeling cool and oil free after using it, and begins to feel very dry 10 minutes later.
I have started with a very low dose of the Benzoyl Peroxide gel (About a fingertip's worth of it). Thankfully, I am not noticing any irritation. I plan to use the same amount tomorrow.
Two full pumps of the Moisturizer makes my face feel nice and cool. It seemed like it would take a very long time for my skin to absorb it all, but it didn't actually take that long.
I have very high hopes for this new routine. Acne has taken a serious emotional toll from me, as it has with many others who suffer from it. I've had acne since I was about 11 years old, and have hated it ever since. I am happy to have purchased the regimen, and wish luck to anyone else using it

Other notes:
- I do have a family history of acne. My mother had very bad cystic acne, and my father had mild acne. My mom, in fact, had acne until she was in her mid 20's, when she decided to start taking Accutane.
- I am taking prescription antibiotics for acne, and have been for about 3-4 months now. However, it only really helped with the REALLY big pimples. I still get a great deal of small - medium sized ones all over my face, and lots of blackheads.
