1 Month And 2 Weeks On Dan Kern's Regimen

Well, it's been a month and two weeks since I've started the regimen and I have to say my hopes that were ever so high are shrinking every day. No new changes to my skin since the last update. Scars are more pronounced and white heads still appear. Cystic acne still appear. Blackheads still present. Basically my skin is still the same as when I started the regimen but with the added difficulty of extreme dryness. My face feels like steel wool. When I smile, these horrible wrinkles appear that make me look like I'm at least 45. I'm 19. Hate to be a downer but I'm more depressed than ever. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I eat right, I exercise, I drink a ton of water, I avoid anything that is even slightly linked (myth or not) to acne. I don't know. I'm just going to go crawl in a hole and never come out. Toodles.

Have you tried Differin cream? It's only available by prescription I think. I also cannot tolerate BP or Retin-A, they both create extreme dryness and redness, and the horrible wrinkle-effect you mention. Differin is much gentler and does help to control my acne.
I've watched A LOT of videos on The Regimen. I'm probably going to purchase it today actually. Basically, from what I've learned is BE PERSISTENT! They all say your face will burn, get really really dry, and peel, but don't give up because it is a slow and steady process, and eventually the dryness and or stiffness will slowly subside. So don't give up yet! And on another note, I've tried Differin, and it did absolutely nothing to help my skin. I'm not trying to be negative, but the cream really didn't work for the three-four months I used it.
