Week 2 Accutane

I have finished the 2nd week on accutane and it is safe to say the only thing that I have as a side effect is severely dry lips. My lips bleed quite often even though I use vaseline every 30 min. My skin has not changed all that much except I do not get any new spots and it is a bit drier. I was suggested aquaphor cream for dry skin but it makes my skin feel greasy and won't absorb well. So I am still looking for a good moisturiser hoping that if it does get worse i will be ready to deal with it.

Cetaphil or Eucerin for moisturisers - both very good !

NP! you may find soon that your nose will get dry too - so use vaseline at night, its starting to help me for sure

and for my lips ive been using "the body shop - lip care with SPF 15 and vitamin". which is really good lips are always hydrated not dry and always soft not so much cracking or anything! and im on my 2nd month

hmm, well not too much of a difference. first month a little dryer then usual lips, nostrils were dry and a few minor nose bleeds. near the end of the month dry scalp - could go a few extra days not washing since it didnt look greasy/oily. and then the weather decided to become beautiful and hot so skin was sensitive using spf 50. for the second month all the same as above. dr put me on 60mg a little bit better improvements had a good week and a half or so with prettty good face long time since i felt it was semi-decent, and then just this past weekend i broke out again along the jaw line and neck. i guess its all apart of the process - all just trying to come out. but yeah not much different then the first.
