How Does This Site Work? Confused

On the front page of a blog, there's a button which says, 'Follow this blog'. In each individual blog entry, there is a button which says, 'Follow this entry'. Click that one as well and you should get a notification each time an entry is made on a blog and certainly each time someone comments on an entry.

In your profile under 'Notification Options', make sure you also tick to receive notifications of new updates on blogs you follow, then you'll get notification alerts in the top-right of your screen.

In theory, doing these things should solve your problem, although I don't think the notifications are working quite as they should be. Seems there are still a few bugs in the message board after the recent upgrade, but it's all in the process of being fixed.

I think even when you follow someone's blog, you still need to follow each entry as well to receive a notification when comments are added to it. It's a bit of a pain!
