Day 418 Accutane

Okay everyone, I know it's been a long time. I've been really busy, and since my skin has been so great, it's not always the first thing on my mind like it used to be. But let's back up. Around the middle of May, my doctor told me to take three 40mg pills a week. I couldn't, because I broke out a bit. (Just a few small pimples). So I went back to taking pills every day. At my last appointment, a little over a month ago, he told me to go down. I have! I haven't been taking them in any certain order lately. I've been gone for a while and it's hard to remember, or to even find the pills in my suitcase. Anyway, I've had a few small pimples but they go away quickly. It's been great! I have another appointment in a few days, so he might bump my dosage down more. I can still shower every other day and not have greasy hair, unlike how I was before accutane. My skin isn't dry, but it's not very oily. It's a nice balance, I really like it. My joints are fine, everything is going great. The best news is that my red marks are healing! The lines between perfect skin and scarred skin under my eyes is hardly there! My cheeks look so much better. The scarring is so slight, it only looks like an uneven skin tone. My only major scarring left is the big mark on my right jaw, but I figure that I'll have that one for many more years, so I have learned to accept it. It is fading a bit, though. Anyway, life is going so great because of my lovely skin, and I couldn't be more grateful towards accutane. Try it!
