My Plan B: Day 10/11

Edit: well okay I just paid some attention to my skin condition. I was told to stay away from big mirrors. I usually put on my make up in a distance from the mirror. Anyways I kinda gave in today and omg.. my skin is full of whiteheads. They are mostly around my nose, forehead, and my upper lip. They are around the size of a blackhead but bumpy. I have at least 20-30 on one side of my upper lip. I know it's not very noticeable if you don't pay close attention but I can't really hide them with my make up and it's quite noticeable under the sun. I don't know if this is the "normal" phrase after using AHA for 3 weeks? I'm not sure if they will ever go away. I have been having this problem for some time and they are just not clearing.

Okay.. so I woke up with oily skin. I don't see any improvements in terms of the oil reduction ever since I started this regimen. Some said they saw immediate effect upon megadosing. But I am willing to stick with this regimen for at least 3 months. So it might be too early to draw the conclusion now.

However, in terms of acne wise, although my face is pretty much an oil stick, I think my acne improved. I mean, my forehead is suddenly covered with whiteheads and some small pustules, but they are relatively small and minor. In terms of my cheek and chin, it improved a little bit too. With the help of AHA every night, the scars are starting to fade and my skin feels really soft. My fiancé was commenting on the improvement he noticed when it comes to the texture of my skin.

But there are some persistent whiteheads around my nose and lip area. Oh and for some odd reasons, I am starting to get these nasty HUGE and visible blackheads on my nose. I wonder if it has to do with AHA?

I guess I will give this regimen more time. Let's not lose hope *finger crossed*

It sounds like you need a retinoid like epi-duo or retin-A, tretinoin is the generic. Your pores are too clogged and retinoids take care of that. I am not a dermatologist but I should have been one. I studied Law instead of medicine...did'nt try real hard in highschool but thats a long story. Anyways, back to your skin, if you can tolerate it, a high dose of amoxicillin shuts acne down, I have used it for over a year with no side effects and no nausea. Benzaclin is another product that works wonders, it is a combination of a topical (on your face) anti-biotic and good ole benzoyl peroxide. They mix the solution at the prharmacy right before you pick it up so its fresh and active. I slaughter acne...I use everything it can't survive! Prepare for battle!!
Thanks for your advice! :) I think my pores are too clogged too. I wake up everyday with a bunch of new whiteheads. I will definitely look into retin-A and benzaclin.
