So my cheeks and chin are finally clear of all inflamed bumps, and I have a few blackheads left on my left cheek (which was the worst of it along with my forehead). Now I have to deal with hyperpigmentation, and it's a bitch. It took 3 weeks to clear my face almost totally of active acne, but now it's another 6 months for these stupid red spots. I didn't even realize how bad it was until I took a picture. It looks gross, and thanks to the great resolution of my camera, I noticed there were more red marks and post-scarring than I had initially thought. Just so frustrating.
Here's my awesome PIH.
Not to mention my face looks sunburned today after washing, BP, and moisturizing. This is just awesome.
I guess upping the BP this week is the cause, and my skin is trying to adjust. It's disheartening, because I wanted to add in AHA as soon as possible for these red marks. Now I think I'm going to have to wait even longer than one month since my face is being a sensitive mess. Ugh. I think I'm going to explode my brain with homework so I don't have to think about this.
