Are prescription retinoids covered by insurance with no active acne?

Can anyone tell me if prescription retinoids would be covered if I have no active acne? I'd like to see my dermatologist for a Tazorac prescription (I'd like it to use for help with scar repair, anti-aging benefits, and to prevent possible future breakouts), but I'm not sure if the doctor's visit and/or the cream would be covered by insurance. Over-the-Counter Products While On Accutane

Hey, I'm on accutane right now and I was wondering if anyone knows if its okay to use a product such as Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Facial Peel during the course of treatment. My skin is pretty much clear now except for the redness so I thought it could help with that but I'm not sure if its okay to use while I'm still taking accutane. I'm afraid it might cause scarring even thought I think the product is pretty mild. Has anyone used this product while on accutane, and if so, was there any irritation or other negative outcome? Does anyone know of any good products that you can use on accutane to help improve skin appearance (tone, texture, etc.)?

Raw Vegan Diet

I was wondering if anyone here follows a raw vegan diet or has tried it in the past and whether or not it had an impact on your acne. I'm also wondering if a macrobiotic diet has a positive or negative effect on acne. Anyone?
