The only treatments that have ever worked at all for me in the past have been bp (in form of panoxyl) and clindamycin (dalacin t). I've never used the two together because I read in the dalacin instructions not to mix the two. However I've seen a product "Benzaclin" used for acne which includes both ingredients.
I was also under the impression that you shouldn't mix two different types of antibiotics at the same time, but have heard of people being prescribed Benzaclin to use topically while taking Minocycline orally. I have an old Dalacin prescription still and a prescription for Minoxclin and lots of bp at home. Does anybody have any opinions on whether it would be a good/bad/very silly idea to start using all three together?

Has anyone tried Oxytetracyline for longer than 2 months?
I've been on it for about 5 weeks..no change...if not a bit worse. I've just been prescribed Minocycline, but I'm thinking I should persevere with the Oxytetracyline for another month atleast. Any success stories on Oxytetracyline? |
