...im pretty sure this is the wrong thread^^°

anyway -
i think this is quite interesting to know if considering ablative scar treatments such as lasers, dermabrasion or chemical peels so

does anyone know the answer or where to find reliable information? (BRD maybe?)

so far i have found very conflicting data:

0.02mm = 20μm (eucerin)

75–150 μm (pdf document by a university)

Hi there! im looking for some advice!

Im going to start month 4 of accutane by next week but im still breaking out - is this normal?

I had severe cystic acne on face,chest,back but the bc pill (diane 35/ 8thmonth so far) cleared me up considerably - its just my face now: still tons of clogged pores and blackheads and a few cystic ones of medium/big size showing up every few

im going to continue with the bc pill (in order to treat PCOS) and I hope a single course of accutane will clear me up 100% so the bc pill can maintain the results.

thats what my accutane course will be like: f / 20y / 55kg= 120lbs

month 1: 15mg
month 2: 30mg
month 3: 30mg
month 4: 50mg
month 5: 30mg
month 6: 30mg
month 7: 15mg

--> approx. 100mg/kg cumulative dose

Hi, Im not quite sure where to post this but hopefully Im right! wink.gif ...

so I wanted to start a topic for girls who suffer from hormonal acne (due to PCOS) trying accutane!
any (successful) experiences?

how do you face the hormonal imbalance in addition to your accutane treatment?

is there anyone who did benefit from a single accutane treatment being able to keep the skin clear?
with the help of the bc pill (or another hormonal treatment such as spiro etc?)

Ive been taking the bc pill (diane 35 with antiandrogen effect) for 6months now and Ive just started my accutane treatment:
I used to have severe cystic + comedonal acne (back, chest , face) - but the pill improved everything considerably - tho my face aint clear yet (still moderate acne with cystic spots) which is why Ive started with accutane.
I was at 15mg for the first month, now @30mg - no side effects except dry lips (and facial skin - partly) - face is slightly improving by now

ahh that sucks..i understand now
here, the state pays for it because i qualify becuase my income is in a poverty line, so i qualify for free insurance and all of that, but since i am no longer a student for a full year after highschool i will need to pay for it, its complicated but blows
and im gonna go on 80mg from july 24-aug 24..so after aug 24 im gonna ask for a higher mg
