Bio oil vs. tretinoin cream

I've been using retin-a for the past five months now off and on. Sometimes it has good effect on my skin and other times I don't see any difference at all. Now I was told that bio oil might help these old acne scars and I was wondering if it would be better to use this from now on rather than the retin-a. I'm not very sure and totally confused on which product I should use to improve my problem. Any response will be appreciated. Thank you!

Help! red spots after chemical peel

I had a glycolic peel from an esthetician's office on friday nite. Today (after two days), I exfolicated with a scrub to help slough off the dead skin. I must've been too rough on my skin that somehow after exfoliating, I noticed a few red spots left after exfoliating.They haven't gone away and it's been a few hours now since I've done it. Part of my skin feels raw and tender. Are these things normal after a peel? And will the red spots go away? What should I put on them to even out my skin? Thanks!!

p.s. I don't think I'm gonna get peels done again, atleast not for a long time. This time it's scared me like crazy!

You know what sucks about these scars? Everything!

My scars turn red and deeper when I get embarrassed, stressed out, defensive, exhausted and brown and dry when depressed. I don't like going out at night as I notice that they look worse under different night lights. They also look worse when I go out of town. I don't know what to do anymore...

Toner with glycolic acid

I went with my mom to the pharmacy in Kaiser this passed Sat and saw this over-the-counter three step skin system. They are cleanser, toner, and face cream and all three contain glycolic. I'd like to try the toner since I'm not using one at this point but I'm using retin-a. Would this be bad if I'm using retin-a?
