Fraxel and your boss

Ok today i had to tell my boss about my fraxel treatments......which is funny cause i didnt really want to tell anyone appart from my family (who needs to know cause they see me) and my best friend. I see this as a need to know basis i mean i am really self conscious about this stuff.

So of course the first time i did fraxel I didnt ask for any time off, I even went in to work that same day!!! and the next day.

For my 2nd treatment I took the first day off, but went in the next, and i had to attend meetings where I had to see alot of people!!! sucks

So for my 3rd tx scheduled for next week, i asked for 2 days off......of course my boss asked what these "treatments" were...thinking it was something "serious" but i had to flat out tell her it was "cosmetic" and that it was facial laser resurfacing...how embarrasing....she was probably thinking i was nuts....she was totally understanding though I she is letting me work from home next week...but still

Just wondering if any other Fraxelers have been called out or had to make u an excuse or tell someome they didnt want to know for that matter????

Fraxel and Verilux acne Lamp

I have had 2 Fraxel treatments, and have just purchsed the Verilux Acne Lamp about 2 weeks ago, just to combat those minor breakouts. So far I really like it.

I am unsure if it is safe to use on the newly rejuvinated Fraxel skin.....I mean they say avoid sunlight, but I dont want to be causing damage as I am working on the already existing damage with the fraxel.

Any thoughts?
