I noticed that my mineral makeup sinks into my shallow scars and makes them appear much worse than they really are. So I've been searching for a solution and decided to try a primer underneath my makeup to help "fill in" my scars. After reading a lot of reviews on different brands of primer, I decided to give Clinique Pore Minimizer Perfector a try. I bought it yesterday but I'm terrified to try it because I'm affraid it will break me out. It took a long time and a lot of patience to clear my skin so I would really HATE to break out again.
What's your experience with primer? Which one have you tried and did it break you out?? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,
I bought Brown Rice Bread (from the freezer section) and I'm going to have some for lunch today. Do I have to keep it in the freezer, fridge, or leave it out? Thanks

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to know which foods help balance hormones naturally. Right now I'm eating what I consider a healthy diet, but I'm not sure I'm eating the right foods. I eat lots of veggies, fruits (except oranges-they break me out), no dairy except organic milk, and no refined carbs and sugar, including sweets and chocolate. I eat lean protein like chicken, fish, and turkey. I only drink water, organic milk, and sugar free red bull. I've been on this diet for a week. So am I avoiding/eating the right things? Do I need to add anything or quit something. I still eat grains (whole wheat bread). Is this bad? I know I can probably find my answer if I just search this forum but I dont really have the time and I just want a quick answer. Thank you so much for any help you can give me.

The other day as I was getting ready to do my makeup, I realized that I had left my EM foundation in the other bathroom which was being used and I was in a rush so I couldnt wait. All I had with me was my Everyday Minerals Pressed Powder which I bought only to use to powder my T-zone when it gets shiny. But I thought hmm...I wonder how if would look like all over, so I tried it and OMG. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it had GREAT coverage and looked so good and natural! It looked much better than my regular EM foundation. So now instead of getting my two EM foundations, mixing them together, applying my silk finishing powder, then the foundation, then silk powder again, then concealer...I just apply my pressed powder and then concealer, blush, and I'm done!
I never would have thought that a powder would have good coverage since I'm used to Cover Girl compact not having any coverage at all. I just wish they had more colors. Just thought I'd share this with you guys and help some of you out there.

Hey everyone,
I wish I could conceal my red marks first then put my foundation over, but everytime I try this, my kabuki brush wipes it off. I've tried setting it with powder, and being extra careful with my makeup brush but it still gets messed up. So I've been searching for a good concealer that I can wear under my makeup that will stay put and look natural. I've been doing some research and I found a few that might do the job but i'm not sure. Does anybody have any experience with the following: 1) Revlon Colorstay concealer 2) Make Up For Ever concealer 3) Dermablend? Any other concealers you recommend? Anybody have any tips or tricks to keep my concealer put. It would be sooo nice to completely cover my red marks. They always show through my makeup no matter how hard I try to cover them up. Help! Thanks in advance! |
