I've been on the regimen for over 1 month now. I'm actually acne clear. I wasn't expecting it to work this fast, but it did. No acne, no redness, no flakes. nothing.
Anyways, yesterday I decided to cut back on the amount of BP that I used on my face. (From 1 and a half pumps to just 1) When I put on the moisturizer, my face started stinging. Then the redness came. I know early in the regimen, you can expect it to sting and to turn red as your skin adjusts to the BP. but my question is, if you start to apply less BP then normal, do you have to go through another 'adjustment' phase? I Know this is going to get asked, so here is what I use. Dan's cleanser wait 5 minutes. Dan's BP wait 20 minutes. Cetaphil moisturizer + Jojoba oil

I was watching this youtube video the other day, and in the video it said that you can use Jojoba oil on the acne to help kill off acne bateria. I was just wondering if this was true or not.
Should I use extra Jojoba oil on any pimples or would it be a waste?

Okay so, I'm 3 days into the regimen..and so far everything was going good.
First 2 days went by, no redness or flakiness (using dan's cleanser, treatment, and moisturizer). Here we are, third day. And I have an unusual amount of redness around the sides of my mouth. It's not BAD, but it wasn't there before. And..I don't know. I know this is normal for the regimen, but damn, it sucks. I look in the mirror and I see (more or less) good skin, followed by redness around the sides of my mouth. I really don't know why I'm posting here...I guess I just want to know that this is indeed normal and that it will go away soon. Second thought, any way to help reduce the redness? Or how long it should take before it goes away? |
