HI there,
I have moderate acne,
8 Months ago i went to my GP, who gave me DUAC. Found this simply too strong, made my acne worse,
Went back couple of months gave my ethromycin, took that for 6 months no change,
So went back recently and was given Oxytetracline-
But, after the summer, I wanna use this regimen- its less damaging to the body in my opinion.
I have sensitive skin,
so what can UK Users recommend i use-
I am happy with my cleanser Nivea for men Sensitive Skin
And my moisturiser is Moosehead face Hydrator,
but the BP is a hard one to choose as i have really sensitive skin
what should i go for?
Thanks in Advance

Hi,
I am new to this site. Hello to all.
could anyone tell me what UK products I need for moderate acne on the chest following Dan's body acne regimem?
What cleanser to use
what alpha hydroxy acid
What Benzoyl peroxide
Also, do I need to follow the steps twice a day? having 2 showers with cleanser, alpha hydroxy acid, Benzoyl peroxide applied?
Many thanks

Hey guys, I was just wanting some feedback on the regimen that I'm wanting to follow to clear up my acne, and the scars and blemishes its left behind. Grr, I know!
So basically, I breakout every 2-3 days wiv one or two spots, anywhere around the face usually on the cheek or forehead. Below is the regimen I'd like to use.
At the moment, Im using Simple Moistursing Face Cleaner and Clearasil Ultra Deep Pore Treatment Wash, with a normal moisturizer.
QUOTE
Clearasil Skin Perfect Sensitive Wash
Clearasil Ultra Deep Pore Treatment Wash
Garnier Pure Anti-Blemish Moisturiser
Bio Oil
I was wandering if Bio Oil would be suitable for my skin, as I've got a lot of blemishes and marks that could dissapear if I used it.
I would appreciate any other recommendations to use, and thanks very much for your help.

I have been searching for a good body wash which has salycilic Acid or Glycolic Acid. Almost all washes are made for face and its max. 150ml.
I have acne on my chest shoulders and upper back. I have been using;
First: Head&Shoulders citrus fresh (for oily skin) shampoo
Then: clerasil ultra deep pore treatment face wash
on my body. I am very happy with those two products But i want a proper body wash instead of clerasil as it's a small bottle (150ml) and expensive (£5,45).
From reading reviews Neutregena body clear body wash seems like the most popular body wash but noone sells it in th UK. I called Boots head office they said they used to sell but they don't sell it anymore.
Anyone knows where to buy a good body wash which has salycilic Acid or Glycolic Acid?

HELP! suggestions?!?!?!?!?!?!
also.. im now taking fish liver oil, vit c, grape seed extract, a herbal med (pimple treatment also).. dont you think if id take pantothenic acid, it might be too much already?????

Hey all,
Just wondering as the subject says, if any of you have tried Savlon Gel as a topical?
I used to use the cream to put on spots to try and calm them and fade red marks etc but since hearing about the gel i went out and bought some about a month ago and used this instead of the cream. Because it is a gel it dries clear and so i started wearing this under my make up. I put a finger full on both cheeks where i get cystic acne and rub it in until it dries and then i apply my make up. It does not ball or come off when i do this and have found that where i have been wearing the Savlon, i haven't had any more cystic acne. Now touch wood, because it is antibacterial i'm figuring this could be used to fight the acne bacteria and keep skin clear.
Red marks seem to be fading as well. But slowly as always

So anyone else got any experiences with this at all?

So I'm on week 5, I don't have severe acne, it's kinda between mild and moderate atm. Anyways I just ran out today (don't worry I ordered some more just now), but is there anything I can do because usually it takes about 1 week to get here and I don't want to muck up the regimen by having a week off. Have any of you guys had this? Would 1 week off BP ruin the regimen or set me back for a few more weeks? I'm new to all this so...

Ok, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do when traveling overseas on a long flight i mean 24hrs of flying! I'm in a bit of a panic!!!!
I know the airlines only allow you to take 100ml or less on board in your carry on and even then has to be in a sealed plastic bag. I'm thinking i should be able to just buy travel containers and put only what i'll need for the trip in them. Of coarse doing it this way they won't be labeled so i hope i won't have any problems going through security with it.
Has anyone had to do this before if so what did you do? Any recomendations?
My skin is starting to clear so well i don't want to back pedal by stuffing up the regimen just cause of this flight.
Thanks in advance!

Iv'e been taking this herbal remedy for about 4 monthes now and they do help reduce spots.
Iv'e always had spots, not severly but i do have acne. These tablets are a perfect solution to help reduce redness and minor breakouts.
I'm not saying they will work for everyone but they have for me, i still have a few spots which get me down but not half as much as i used to before taking the tablets.
You can get them from Holland and Barretts and even tescos and boots. They ae affordable too. i say give them a go.

Just wondering?! I have just cottoned onto the great reviews of Jojoba oil and would like to buy some, preferably in a shop tonight so i can get going right away

)
Does it have to be organic and cold pressed or can you just use any Jojoba oil (i.e. with no added ingredients) just as successfully?
Thanks

my current spendings on DKR products are:
on average:
£85 worth of dans bp every 3.5 month
delivery charges on each at around £20
customs charges 25 on pretty much every order.
£25 on cleanser inc del twice a year
a year i am spending:
£300 on bp alone a year
£70 on its delivery
85 on customs charges
50 on cleanser
£507 a year!!
with roughly £150 of it being spent without reason.
why cant a bulk amount of products be shipped to the uk and posted off to people internally.
it will even be highly benifitial to dkr, meaning more people can afford to use this regeime.
Thanks

Hi i've just joined and wanted some help. So at the moment i'm using Glytone acne face wash kit which is good but has left me with red marks on my chin and the sides of my face and I have a few spots here and there. I was thinking of buying Dan's products but it's too expensive for me. I want to buy Brevoxyl Cream, Cetaphil Non-Irritating Cleanser , and a good moisturizer. Is that good and is it all I would need?

Hey everyone- i know there is a moisturizer thread every couple of topics in this forum so sorry if its a bit repetititive- but ive been through past threads and tried most of the recommendations so ive managed to narrow it down a fair bit...
Ive tried Olay (both the normal and sensitive lotions) with reasonable results, Eucerin 5% cream with poor results (very disapointed considering the good reviews), Neutrogena oil control moisturizer, which was great until its changed formula, E45 and baby lotion, which i regret using with a passion.
Anyway- Ive moderate acne and still using the olay with quinoderm 5- but i swear it does cause the odd breakout despite advertising it-self as 'non-greasy' - can anyone vouch for it as a regimen moisturiser?
the simple range seems like its got a good following- but theres two different ones- the 'light hydrating' and the 'daily replenishing' - anything of note to distinguish the two??
Havent had much luck with trial and error in the past! So itd be brilliant if i could find something affordable that doesnt block pores and moisturses well
thanks a bunch,
Tom

I've been on the regimen for 2weeks now and am wanting to buy a 10% AHA lotion.
I would love to buy Dan's but shipping and customs charges just make it far to expensive. Does anyone know a good AHA you can purchase in the UK?
I also think once i have run out of Dan's products i will have to find alternatives as it's just to pricey to order it from the US. Hope i can find products that work as well.

Hey. I've been on the regimen for a week now, and have noticed a big improvement. I've been using three products, and would like your opinions on them.
1. PanOxyl Aquagel 2.5%
2. Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash.
3. Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser.
Where can I buy jojoba oil?
Thanks.

My regime is as follows.

Tea trea oil face toner
Nivea for men sensitive skin Moistruizer

Wondering if anyone knows if you can get 2.5% or 5 % BP wash without prescription, the doctor gave me a 10% but its a bit harsh and the lower percentages are said to be just as effective. So does anyone know where to get a 2.5% or 5 % BP wash in the UK over the counter in a shop ?

Hi
I use Quinoderm cream for my acne, but i suffer from very dry skin.
I did use E45 cream, which helped my dry skin, but seemed to be bad for my acne. So i don't use it anymore.
Could anyone recommend a good moisturizer for me please?
Thanks

I am looking for a 10% Alpha Hydroxy/ Glycolic Acid product in the UK to use in the regimen on my back. Can anyone tell me where I can buy this, either in local stores or on websites preferably. I've checked www.lookgr8.co.uk. but the lowest percentage of glycolic acid they sell is 12% and I want to get the regimen right. So, I'm looking for a 10% glycolic acid product. Please help.

Hi there, could anyone please tell me the most effective BP cream that has worked for them? However, I know each person's experiences/sensitivities to certain products are different but would like to know if there are any over-the-counter creams that seem to work??! Only I have tried Freederm and that just seemed to spread/aggravate my skin even more! Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions that currently work for them?
Thank you!
