2 of the steps in Proactive are 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide... From what i've read here on the forums it seems like just about everyone who has gotten clearing using dan's regimen has also tried proactive before hand it had never worked for them...
What's this mean? Me personally proactive never worked for me either... It would only make the redness go down and if I stopped using it i would have 5 times worse acne then before I started using it...

I've heard that taking a vitamin that has to many things in it your not really benefiting from it because your body can't take in so many different things in at once effectively...
Does anyone think this is true, and if so what are the most important vitamins that I need to take. I've heard a lot about zinc...

Unless im just completely blind WHAT ARE THE PRODUCTS that offer this... (2.5% BP) and does that mean like 2.5% of the entire bottle or wut

I've had it since probably 14, and I am now 20 and 1/2...
I neglected my face alot during the whole teenage depression phase, and during that time I constantly went from times where I had 1 pimple to an entire face full of red, black, white, nasty and sensitive acne... I did always convince my self that it will go away once i'm older blah blah blah... Well closing in on 21 and as of right now my acne being the worst it has ever been in my entire life i'm really starting to think I DO NEED to do something about it. I would like to say i've tried every acne/skin helper stuff out there. Now saying that I do admit that if I tried it perfectly for two weeks and I didn't see any benefits I would say *screw it*. around 11 months or more ago I would do the same thing with proactive. (the first time I used it)... Proactive when I used it always helps the redness in my face go away. Now around a year or less ago when I first started it and like i said if i didn't see improvements in 2 weeks I would give up... After around the first time I did this I could sincerely see a difference not long after that proactive 'supposedly helped' the reason i say it like that because out of the past year i've noticed that when I do use it then stop my acne is almost 5 times worse... leading me to think proactive actually helped... honestly as of around a year ago when i started proactive I would say i had about 50 less zits,pimples,scars etc then i do now... and the messed up thing is I keep going back to it every now again just to keep my face from being to damn ugly that i can bare it and each time I feel its not doing anything i stop and it gets worse... I'm seriously thinking about going to a dermatologist and just taking pills because out of 6 years I don't believe it has anything to do with my face being dirty or how i eat. because Theres people who eat 12 times worse than I do and are 20 times nastier than I am and their well... HOT compared to me... Anyone have any suggestions... if so i would be very thankful for any help |
