Has anyone else experienced a decreased appetite while on Accutane? I'm debating whether this is a side effect of the Accutane. If it's a side effect, then I'll take it! I LOVE food, but since I've been on this medication I don't have as much of an appetite. And it doesn't take much food for me to feel satisfied or full. It's almost like I feel hunger, but couldn't really care less whether or not I eat. When I feel hunger, I go ahead and eat, but usually just enough to knock off the hunger and then I'm good to go.
Has anyone else experienced this? It could be unrelated to my treatment, but I'm just wondering. |

thanks for the tip about the heating pad. my back sucks to begin with, so i anticipate it will only feel worse after being on accutane for a while. i would never have thought to use a heating pad, so i do appreciate the word of wisdom! :) 7 May 2008 - 9:11

about the loss of appetite.. i haven't really lost mine, I've actually seemed to be a lot hungrier than usual since my Accutane. I have lost weight, though. I went from maybe about 110 to now 99lbs! 24 Mar 2008 - 14:11

I'm in the same boat.......... 37 with adult acne !! I had BEAUTIFUL skin in high school, now this ! I've heard it's my way of releasing toxins. Instead of being overweight I get acne. It's HORRIBLE to have this !! I'm going on BC next cycle. I was on this in HS, maybe that's why I was clear ?? 13 Feb 2008 - 23:24 Last Visitors
