Hi everyone- (i keep on posting so many topics sorry)
My mom has perfect soft skin and she says it's because she always avoided the sun and always used sunscreen. (She had no acne when she was younger)
And unlike her, I'm prone to acne yet I still want to keep my skin from becoming damaged, leading to spots and wrinkles when I'm older so I really want to use sunscreen. (I didn't use it in the past because I was afraid they'd clog pores and make my face look xtra oily)

My dad is a doctor so he purchased a bunch of "Elta MD" sunscreen
"EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46

1.7 oz Airless Pump (Item # 02500)
SPF 46 with 9% Micronized Zinc Oxide and high-purity Niacinamide (vitamin B3)
Calms and protects sensitive, acne-prone skin
Very lightweight, oil-free formula leaves no residue on skin’s surface
Use alone or under makeup every day"

I'm also on the Acne.org Regimen
so I was just wondering should I use this sunscreen after the moisturizer?

Thanks again!

Hey everyone--
so apparently in california, we have to be able to swim 8 laps so we're having this swimming unit thats going to last for 3 weeks (through homecoming week..which really sucks...i'm gonna look crappy)

I recently purchased the Acne.org Regimen products (the BP and the moisturizer, Cetaphil gentle cleanser)

I was just wondering if you guys can give me some advice on what I should do for my face after I'm done swimming? I'm guessing chlorine is bad for your skin also? (Swimming unit starts on october 5th by the way) Also, we only get 5-10 to take a shower AND change and get to class D:

Thanks for the help everyone!

Hi everyone--
These past few weeks, a lot of annoying whiteheads have been popping up and they each tend to leave a scar even when I don't pop them. I just cover them in Benzoyl Peroxide before I go to bed.

This might sound impossible but school for me is starting in two days and I want them to look as unnoticeable as possible by then.

I will appreciate any advice on how to deal with whiteheads. Thanks so much everyone smile.gif

My friends at school have perfect skin without even trying and I'm trying everything I can think of to get rid of the latest stupid pimple on my face. It feels like people look at me like I constantly eat oily foods and don't wash my face. They don't know that I'm trying so hard! Same goes with all of you on this site; your regimens are always so complicated and take so much effort (and money)! Why aren't we all blessed with perfect skin?

I'm an incoming sophomore in high school (school is going to start next week! UGH!)
and since I started getting acne, my confidence is decreasing by the day. Moreover, I can't even talk to the guy I like properly. Maybe this has to do with my personality but if I didn't have acne, I'm positive that I'd be able to open up to so many people. If I didn't have acne, my high school life wouldn't be so frustrating. I just don't want my precious high school years to end this way.

Anyone feel the same way?

Hi everyone-
I used to wash my face with Biore pore unclogging scrub (with Salicylic Acid) and I got frequent microdermabrasions and my skin was manageable but then I some got "milia" and I read that too much exfoliating can cause more acne. I stopped using the scrub after that.

Recently, I started washing my face with a non chemical bar and I coated my skin with Benzyl Peroxide 5% but I started getting non inflamed in places where I usually don't...
Should I continue this regimen?

Thanks everyone for your time biggrin.gif
