Clear, but suffering a major depression

Hi everyone. I need some advice guys. I am currently taking orthotricyclen to control my acne and PMS and i am having a major depression and mood swings right now. I've been on this birth control pill since January of 2007 and never had many side effects on it, just the regular nausea at the beginning of treatment. The good part is that I am totally clear and having a very busy life, but i am having all kinds of negative feelings. I don't enjoy any of my daily activities anymore and have feelings of running away. Also i am very moody especially with my husband who is starting to resent me. I am taking a multi vitamin to combat some of these symptoms, but i do not know yet if it is working. I wish i could get off of this pill, but i know that my acne will come back, PMS and bloody cramps( it happened before and i went back to being a hermit and an antisocial at work). So I am dammed if i do and dammed if i don't. What should i do to fight this depression? The season also does not help at all, winter is bloody hell here. Thank you for reading this.
