I'm so mad at myself

Okay so I call my derm to tell him that I have some mild anxiety at work and would like something to take the edge off, the nurse immediately takes me off TANE (which was working so good) and had me see my primary physician to give me something. I'm now taking Cymbalta and seems to work great, minus the normal side effects.

My questions is this? I see my derm tomorrow, do you think he'll put me back on tane if I tell him my meds are working? I'm scared cause tane was doing miracles on my face but the nurse told me that it would continue working anyway, yet I had 5-6 new pimples since I stopped about 2 weeks ago.

Has anyone taken Cymbalta & Accutane together?

Anyway, my advice is to not say anything about anxiety or depression unless it's really severe and you think of hurting yourself or others. Or else you will be made to stop. I fee like such a fool because my stress was from work and now I"m irritated for saying anything at all. although they encourage you to always speak up.

Sorry I'm ranting. Please someone give me a word of encouragement or advice if this has happened to you out there.

Free Vilate Bottle (B5)

Hi everyone,

I am on Accutane & I still have a bottle (almost completely full) of B5, I'd hate to throw it away since it's very expensive & I'm willing to give it up for free.

I know this may sound weird & once I began writing this I realized that people may not want an opened bottle, but if anyone does I will send it PRO BONO....

Initial Breakout Question...

The initial breakout from tane, is it:

1. A purging of gunk already withing the skin...or

2. A reaction to the medicine, of brand new bumps

The whole breakout doesn’t make sense to me. I know its supposed to happen but how & why??

Started 60mg 4/29/07

Hey all,

I started my Tane dose of 60mg yesterday, I did not feel anything, nor do I today after my morning dose.

How long does it take to feel the dry lips/eyes/skin, or any other side effects??

Extreme Makeover Team

The Extreme Makeover doctors seem to do miracles on people who have some serious problems, and I have seen people on there that used to have worse skin then mine come out with plump, scarless, flawless, smooth skin.

Are these docs only in Cali? How come these procedures don't seem to be available to the greater plastic surgery community.

I am thinking of going to Cali to get something done if I have to, but I cannot really believe that only Cali has such awesome docs & procedures.

I live in NC, does anyone know a great plastic surgery doc??
