Hello everyone :)

I'm a sixteen years old. I've suffered from acne ever since I hit puberty(around 13-ish) and over the years my acne has gone from moderate to the upper-end of moderate severe.

I first started out using Proactiv(no results), switched over to Neutrogena(only worked temporarily), tried Stridex(no results), then finally visited a dermatologist who prescribed me minocycline, benzoyl peoxide, and sulfacetamide sodium. It's been a few months now since i've started it and the effects on my acne are slim to none, although my vision has blurred slightly because of the medicine.

I've gotten to the point where my acne just makes me absolutely livid. My skin is absolutely perfect everywhere else but my face. . . there it's just monsterously horrible =( Ugh.

I was pretty shy as a kid, but having to deal with acne as a teenager has only served to put the final nail in my social life's coffin.

I'm hoping i'll be able to find something here to help my problem and talk with people who are dealing with the same things I am =) Wish me luck!
