I've never fully understood why 2.5% BP is better/gentler than 10% BP cos at end of day I wouldve thought its all about how much u put on. Dan puts on loads of 2.5% which surely is equiv to putting on a little of the 10%?
So, since 1/4 10%=2.5%, if you use a finger for face of 2.5% then use a 1/4 finger of 10%. It works out cheaper and u got less potentially irritating inactive ingredients, it means tube last longer as well. Panoxyl Aquagel 10% is £3.65 and Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5% is £3.10 thats almost half price for the same active ingredient. If u r still that worried u could dilute the 10% with 3 parts water to its 1 part and save dosh!

I strongly advise you not to use Demodex Solutions who sell ZZ Cream and Xin Cream amongst others.
This company is selling products whose main ingredients are available in USA & Europe far cheaper with FDA approval and consumer rights measures in place. The secret ingredients of ZZ Cream could be harmful. Chinese medicine can be dangerous, there have been cases of ingredients permanently damaging health... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4429414.stm China has pollution and contamination problems so even if the drugs are made there in good faith and with good will they can still be contaminated with mercury, lead etc This company is also selling a prescription only drug METRONIDAZOLE. It is prescription only for good reason, it should be used under medical supervision, not ordered over the Internet and used like aspirin. This company also offers no refunds. Do yourself a favor and get your meds from a reliable and reputable source, one that doesnt have to resort to spamming websites like this, and where necessary get your meds under medical supervison. Demodex & P Acne proliferation may be a symptom of skin disorders but they are not the cause. It makes great marketing to scare people into thinking they have things crawling on them that need getting rid of. These mites and P Acnes occur on most, if not all people. Dan warns about buying drugs on net without rx this as well... http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Buying-drugs-Internet-R-t68942.html QUOTE Dan Oct 4 2005, 04:05 PM Buying drugs on Internet without Rx, Why it's a bad idea If you want or need an acne prescription, see a doctor and get it legally. If you get prescriptions illegally online you could easily hurt yourself or waste your money. - Independent studies have been performed on the sale of Internet-bought prescriptions. Often the prescription contains no active ingredient, little active ingredient, or in a worst case scenario toxic amounts of active ingredient. - Drugs bought without a prescription can actually be a completely different compound from what the buyer intends. Acne.org prohibits the illegal trade of any form of drug or prescription drug. If you see a post from someone selling a prescription, please report it immediately. Thanks.

Most of the newer Clearasil Ultra Range uses Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and Salicylic acid (SA). For some wierd reason the cream in states doesn't and uses BP whereas here in UK it uses what most of the rest of the range use. In states u can use the following instead of cream which does have SA and H2O2 ... http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...randFilter=8188 http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...x=BUY-GFI-0-MWS These are also available in UK. In studies H2O2 had far less irritation and seems OK along side SA, whereas BP has more irritation probs cos of Benzoic Acid by product. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...0158&query_hl=1 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...7558&query_hl=1 When SA can be combined with a peroxide its very effective. Dan uses an AHA in his moisturizer to help exfoliation, however SA (A BHA) gets right into the pore. I've swapped from Dans regimen to this using the wipes from today and will let you know how it goes a month or 2 down the line. I wondered if anyone else here in UK has used this?
