knocked back

so i took a risk and met this girl for dinner who i've been seeing every so often when clubbing and we chat online all the time for a year. i think she finally saw my face for what it was and is giving me the ignore treatment. under all the glitz of the dark and strobing lights i must've looked somewhat presentable.

i duno, even though im not a kid anymore, this kinda thing makes me feel like 16 again

Anyone heard of a skin graft for huge pock scars?

I watched a UK documentary called embarassing bodies last night online, one of the people was a lady who had severe acne scarring, she used to have cystic acne and she had many many pock marks all over her face (and sadly her body). One of the doctors in the show took a skin graft from behind her ear and then implanted it into some of the more huger scars on her face to fill in the scar. The show isn't very well done as its all very made for entertainment, but she was definitely happier about it.

Just interesting, I have never heard of this method? Anyone tried it etc?

Struggling with a girl

I am convinced a girl likes me but isn't quite aware of my scarred face.

I met her in a club and thats the only place I've ever seen her, so its always pitch black and theres lot of coloured lighting etc so my scars/blackheads don't show up very well.

I am not sure what to do, I don't want to meet with he rin the daytime and scare her

I tihnk my face is moderately scarred, but i suppose the blackheads on my nose are also a major issue.

Thought I'd post here because it is specifically for scar sufferers.

I have moderate scarring and I am really beginning to believe that I can never have a normal life as long as they are with me.

I'm just realising that I am getting older and older and I am always waiting for my life to start but as long as I see this fac ein the mirror it will never happen

I want to know if anyone here has been able to ignore their scarring, if it is moderate+
