Hey just a quickie.

Ive have used this for a month and its completely cleared my skin now. I have had clear skin after Accutane for a few years and then it came back a bit. Retin A kept me under control for the next couple years till I started breaking out randomly with a a kind of spotty rash then my doctor gave me erythromycin for this rash. My skin has never been so good.

My problem is now my skin is clear my doctor will not give me erythromycin again.

I know that I will continue to get spots so im just wondering if anyone orders this online from the states and if so anywhere they can get it for cheap?

Many thanks

Hi all,

Ive just been reading through a lot of the posts in this section as its my first time back to this site in years.

Although its good to be back I wish I wouldnt have to ;p

I am now 29 and although my skin isnt terrible I would even consider it mild acne now, I am really vain about my skin having suffered from spots since I first became a teen.

My main complaints at the moment are my skin is really oily. I havent ever seen a person with such an oily t-zone before. Also I sometimes get biggish spots around one of my eyes but this isnt all the time. Its once every couple months or so and always seems to be in the same area. I sometimes also get tiny spots on my forehead.

What I want the most is consistant skin. Just hate looking in the mirror and seeing im having a bad skin moment again even though at other times its great. Just want to be able to not think about it even though I know this may never happen. I have always though that as I get older it would become less of a problem but after reading this part of the site I am less confident as some of you seem to be having this thoughout life sad.gif When I look back at old photos of myself I realise how bad my skin was.

Anyway I had accutane about 5 years ago and this was the best thing I have ever done for myself in my life. Made my skin a lot more manageable and the improvement since was amazing. Before this I had tried every cream and product going. Even the side affects were very worthwhile as I could live with anything for clear skin.

Just now my skin is up and down. I am using retin a gel at nights. I think the retin a gel is making my skin even more oily. Has anyone any thoughts on this? Its not exactly scientific I just notice if I dont use it my skin is less oily. Also have people tried not using this every night? As products can be quite harsh im just curious as to results from using it in a more gentle way so the skin is more looked after. I moisturise in the day with an oil free moisturiser. I am still getting small tiny spots in my t zone and the occasional ones around my eye. The other side of my face is a lot better. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try or what has worked for them?

Anyone tried something in the day as wel as something like retin a gel at night?

Have people noticed any changes in the skin when they reach say 30?

One product that I found good in the early days was Dalacin T. I went on accutane after using it but it did help me then. I am curious as now my skin isnt quite so bad that it might control it this time.

Just want to spin some ideas about really as to what to try. My doctor isnt exactly considerate to me dicsussing this with him and is usually dis-interested with me even though I have only ever seen him about my skin before. I did get cream for shingles off him once when I did get lots of spots and blisters around my eye a year ago. This is the same eye that I get the spots around from time to time could this be linked?

Any feedback would be appreciated even if its just what you guys and girlies have tried before and what your experimenting with now as all knowledge shared is great and feedback from places like this is better than any manufacturers jargon.

Thanks smile.gif
