How do we accept our place in life? Will ever truely know who and what we are meant to be in this short time we are all given?
I have come to accecpt what i am in this part of my life. I am not a leader, I am not a follower, I am not rich nor am I poor, I am not an artist, I am nobodies saviour. I may never achieve what I want to achieve, I may never see the countries I want to see, I may never find the love of my life and I may never truely find I want for myself. However through everything I have seen, evertything that has happend to me and my family, everytime someone who i care about gets hurt, everytime I get knocked down and I feel like I can't get up. I am the guy who refuses to give up. I am the guy who refueses to be stopped, I am the guy who who continue forward no matter what life throws at me. In my mind, I'm 10ft tall and bulletproof, and as long as there's still a breath in my body, I will never give up. I will always fight for the things that I want, I may lose, I may lose big, but at least I can say that I took the chance, and came out in one piece. If there's nothing ventured, there is nothing gained. These are the words I live by. I hope my words in some way help someone, even if it is just one person then this was worth writing.

After coming off the regimen again to see if my acne had gone i had one of the worst breakouts of acne in about 5 years.
So with determination to get it under control again i went straight back on the regimen. 10 weeks later i am 100% although i have fading red marks everywhere. This is more for the people who are thinking about using the regimen and are not quite sure about it or for those who have been on it a few weeks and are not seeing results. So as a veteran of this regimen i want to pass a few things on to the new starters or for those of you that have met with little success. 1) First and for most. This is no cure nor does it ever pretend to be. The best way to think of the regimen is ongoing treatment and a highly effective method of control. 2) It will not work overnight. You are in for a long and trying time, met with dryness, flakyness and breakouts 3) You must not give up. You have to push one if you want any success from this. At time it is trying. I have been using it nearly 5 and it pisses me off sometimes but must keep going. Now if you can get through the initial worsening of acne and all the above then you are well on your way. My recent breakout (one of my worse in 5 years) took me 10 weeks to get under control. Even with all the experience i have with the regimen it took me nearly 3 months to get clear. Everytime i though the last spot was gone another wave came through (typically the one that hide under the skin for a weeks then they come through) It was relentless. So my point is don't give up and keep going. When the regimen is doen to the letter there really is no better over the counter regimen to tackle acne.

Need some help people.
I am switching backing to the cetaphil moisterizer. However i have just been onto to drugstore.com and they don't seem to be shipping overseas. It's been a while since i have ordered from there. Can anyone tell me where i can order this for international shipping? Thanks.

I have been using the DKR moisteriser since it came out. So i can say i have give it a fair trial run. It's soft, goes on well and absorbs quickly. However it's effects are limited in that after 2 or 3 hours i am flaking. I have tried adding jojoba oil but that has proven ineffective. The only Way i have been able to stay flake free with it throughout the day is to use ridiculous amounts of it which is inpractcicle.
I am sorry to say that i think cetaphil works a lot better. Ok yeah it's thicker, and makes me a little shiney throughout the day but i never worry about being flaking. I think the moisteriser needs a bit more tweeking before it is 100% effective. Maybe adding alpha hydroxy? So in conclusion. I would say the moisteriser is a working progress and for me is not fully effective. Even with using minimum amounts of B.P it still was unable to keep me 100% flake free. What's everyone elses experience with it?

Got some news peeps. It has been a while since i have posted on this section of the boards so sorry about that.
Anywayz i have recently found out i do not have to the regimen twice a day anymore. I discoverd this when royal mail went on strike and i was running low on B.P. I put my order in but i knew it would be weeks late so i cut down to once a day to make b.p gel last longer. That was 4weeks ago and i haven't applied b.p at night for all of this time and i have stayed 99% clear. I am in high hopes that this is a sign that my acne is finally on it's way out after almost 13years of having acne. Anywayz i hope everyone else is good and staying clear. |
