I have been using Duac in the mornings and Tazorac at night for the past three months. While my skin has been flaky and dry the past few months it has been manageable. Now - for the past 2 weeks or so my skin has been so dry and dehydrated there is no amount of moisturizer or jojoba oil that will remedy it. It looks scaly and so dry that is looks wrinkly. When I try to put on makeup it almost looks like there is a giant scab covering my face. Is this just part of Taz or should I stop using topicals for a couple of days? PLEASE HELP! I am not going to apply Taz tonight and I only spot treated with Duac this morning. I am in my brother's wedding tomorrow and really hope my face doesn't look like it's falling off.

I have been on Tazorac for about 10 weeks now and while I am pretty much clear of active acne my scars seem to be progressively getting worse. My scarring is all mostly shallow, but I have noticed a prominent change in them over the course of the past few weeks. Is this common? Is this only because my skin has become so thin with Taz that all the scarring is more noticeable? Will this improve over the course of my using Taz? PLEASE any help would be appreciated.

So...I have always stayed away from foundation (liquid, mineral, powder, tinted moisturizers, etc) because they ALLLLLLLLL make me breakout. I try to only wear full face makeup if I have an event I have to wear it for. I have tried every mineral makeup and expensive liquid foundations down to drugstore brands. Even if it says non-comodogenic or oil-free it is guaranteed to cause new breakouts by the time I wash it off at night. Does anyone who has sensitive skin have any suggestions on liquid or powder foundations that don't cause additional breakouts? I currently have kiss my face tinted moisturizer, EDM, BareMinerals, Cargo oil-free foundation, and they all make me breakout. I am currently using Taz and Duac so my skin is crazy dry as well.

So I started using Taz a little over a week ago. So far I have only used it four times and am only using it once every three days (i.e. Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday...). I put it on over my moisturizer as directed by my dermatologist. So far I have not noticed any redness, peeling, itchiness or anything at all, really. Does this mean I should start using it more frequently because my skin can obviously handle it....or should I just stick with this for a couple weeks to possibly avoid a horrible IB? Any POSITIVE experiences with Taz are very welcome.

Sooo...I have been on Cephelaxin for about 5 months. About 6 weeks ago I started getting small, tiny little pimples under my eyes and on the sides of my nose. I never had spots there before, EVER. They aren't big but they are persistent and get new ones every day. I read that often this is a result of long term use of antibiotics. Does anyone know anything about this? I am starting to clear up everywhere else but just not in those areas. My other thought is that it's a result of getting an agressive chemical peel a few months ago. The skin in this area is thinner and a lot drier now so I thought maybe that is why also.
