Hi guys
I just thought I'd check in a offer some positive encouragement for all those on the regimen. I started the regimen 18 months ago after spending probably almost 20years looking for a cure from my facial acne (I'm 32 now), I tried it all, Roaccutane (the Australian name for Accutane), antibiotics, expensive derm-prescribed topicals, changed diets, changed soaps, exfoliation etc, you name it I tried it - and nothing worked and I had begun to lose hope of ever having clear skin - and then I came onto this site and I'm very happy to say that it changed my life. Who knew that using the 2.5% BP would be more effective than the 10% I was prescribed as a teenager, anyway I am now essentiall spot free (I still get them occaisonally which is a reminder that its not a cure but generally only when I forget to use the required amount of BP or for some unknown reason after I fly long distances). To you guys thinking about giving it a go - dont think, just do - it will change your life. One thing I found that worked well for my skin was to use products with an oil base - I use Pure Deming Intense Gel which has a jojoba oil base and their palm oil soap - and I would never have thought that using an oil based product could help my skin after I spent years bemoaning all the sebum my skin produces - but it works for me. Just wanted to offer all the best to you folks out there beginning your regimen - its all worth it - hopefully you guys wont have to deal with 20 years of acne like I had to. All the best M.

Ladies and gents
Just thought I'd pop back in to provide some of my experience with bacne, I'm now bacne free after a long struggle, and the secret to getting rid of it was vinegar, undiluted on the back before I took a shower, rub it in to exfoliate the skin on my back. This worked for me, I went from having 8-12 large nasty spots that would take weeks to go, by which time there'd be new ones - to zero spots on my back, it also had the effect of removing the pigmentation left by the old spots which my girlfriend used to refer to as scars but which weren't, so my back is now clear and remarkably scar and hyperpigmentation free, all from simple vinegar. I used undiluted rice wine vinegar (only because it was the only one I could find in the supermarket one day and it worked so I've stuck with it, I'm sure all other vinegars work as well). I find now that I only have to apply it once every couple of weeks as opposed to daily when I first started. For me its just a relief to know that I found a cure that didn't involve pills, doctors, or expensive topicals - I've tried all of those and none of them worked but vinegar did. Give it a shot, it really cant hurt. All the best. M.

Hey guys
I dont pop into this forum much anymore - since I cleared up my acne I really haven't had the need - but I thought I'd pass on my experience to hopefully help some of you guys out there still struggling with acne. Quick history on my acne before I pass on my personal bacne cure - I had pretty serious acne for 17 years (I'm 31) and had it on my face and back - the acne on my back was cystic and quite nasty whilst my face was generally less cystic. My face has cleared up with the regimen (I use a lot less BP now than prescribed but it seems to keep my acne at bay, amazing considering I had used BP since day one but not knowing the appropriate way to apply it meant years of nasty facial acne). My back resisted all attempts to rid it of acne - I tried accutane (was too harsh and I ended up sunburnt all the time back in Australia where I grew up so I gave up) and I tried a number of expensive topicals that did virtually nothing, I'd kind of given up hope an resigned myself to a life of bacne when I read about using vinegar on your face to get rid of hyperpigmentation so I thought I'd give it a go to get rid of the red marks on my back that had formed as a result of the cysts and would stay for weeks if not months before being joined by new fresh red marks. So off to the supermarket I went and the only vinegar I could find was Japanese rice wine vinegar so I bought it home and tried it (I found it worked best by using it with a bit of Tea-Tree oil), well the results were amazing, within two weeks my back was clear of spots and the marks had faded significantly within three weeks. I have to say I was stunned. The truly strange thing is that its been almost a year since I first started using it (at the time nightly) my back is completely clear and now I no longer need to use it as regularly, I probably apply it once a week if that and my back stays acne free. I still have the original 375ml bottle from last year which shows how little I need to use these days. If you've made it this far through this long post I'd like to say please give it a try (the smell can take a bit of getting used to but believe me its worth it) and thanks for listening and I wish you all the best in your fight with acne. Good luck, hope it works for you like it worked for me. M.

Hi there folks
Just thought I'd post my progress with using vinegar on my back acne. Progress has been nothing short of astonishing. I'm 30 and for the past 15 years have had varying amounts of extremely persistent, large cystic spots across my shoulders (generally 5-7 at anyone time with a number of smaller red spots), these had left very nasty hyperpigmentation, thankfully little to no actual scarring. I read the vinegar thread (which is where this should probably be but I couldn't find it and lazily gave up trying after 5 mins The results have been amazing, not only has the hyperpigmentation effectively gone (in two months of using the product) but I also no longer get cystic or red spots. I have no idea how this works but I'm not questioning it. I can highly recommend using the product (I personally dont dilute it at all but I have extremely oily skin so I wouldn't recommend this to all people). I hope this can help anyone in a similar position. Good luck. M.
