I searched on here and didn't find much but I randomly found out about it on another site. I've seen a lot of good reviews but of course their are a few "it didn't do anythign for me" reviews also. I was thinking about trying it out and switching my cod liver oil to fish oil since the pills have vitamin A in them. For anyone who doesn't know it contains Vitamins A, B, C, Zinc, and a few other things that are good for skin. The 2 posts I saw on this site about it didn't have great reviews but most of them didn't take it more then a few weeks it seems so more then likely they were expecting a quick fix and/or eating horrible foods. Just wondering if anyone takes this or not or if anyone has a good reason not to take it other then "it didn't work for me". lol

EDIT: Actually I'm having a hard time finding reviews but 2 of the sites that I found with the most reviews have 2 different opinions about it...

I've been taking 200mcg of chromium for a few weeks now and I've noticed I feel a little funny after I take it. I also take zinc and cod liver oil which I have been taking for a few weeks before I started chromium. Anyone else get a slight weird feeling after taking chromium? I take zinc and chromium right after I eat supper. Today I didn't take the chromium and I never got the weird feeling. The feeling is not real bad and I can't really explain it. A few weeks after I started cod liver and zinc I noticed some improvements. When I first start chromium everything was fine but I've been breaking out a lot lately and wasn't sure if it could be the chromium. The other week for a few nights I didn't wash my face which caused me to breakout a little well atleast I think so. Ever since then I've been breaking out a lot and not cleansing at night for a few nights wouldn't cause breakouts for weeks to come or atleast it never did before. I'm just trying to figure this out...I got a nice big dent in the side of my face now from 2 pimples that went deep into my skin but only formed white heads and I'm pretty pissed off about it. Before I started zinc/cod liver I would get big pimples here and there. Some were really red and others were bumps under the skin that came to a head after a few days. Then once I started zinc/cod liver I didn't get as many big pimples but if I did they would only be less then half the normal size they would usually get. Now I've been getting some big ones again and a good bit of smaller ones. I wasn't sure if the chromium giving me a slight funny feeling could be the cause of the breakouts but I don't know...just really confused.

Is their anyone who hooked up a switch or thought about hooking a switch up to their Beautyskin lamp so you could just turn it on without using the timer?

I never opened up the front of the outer case untill a few minutes ago to see what was connected to the timer. I saw only two wires connected to the timer leaving me to believe that you can easily hook them up to a toggle switch. I was just seeing if anyone has done this or not. I want to try it out on mine but I have it up for sale now so I don't want to accidently mess it up if I'm wrong about the switch.

I hope this is ok. I saw someone else selling one on here a while ago.

I have a Beautyskin acne light for sale. I haven't used it for a few weeks because I'm trying to fight off acne with holistic methods now. It's in good shape and I got it back in April. I used it for a months but then stoped for a few weeks. Then I was using it again for a good 3 months but then from there I would use it for a while and then stop for a few days here and there. The bulbs still have plenty of life left. The only thing that might be different from when it was new is the timer. I was trying to use it for a while at night when everyone in my house was sleeping so I held the timer still so it wouldn't making the ticking noise that it does. After that the timer got a little weird so now if you turn it as far as it can go, which is a little past the 15 min mark, it will go for about 15 min. I usually us my cell phone or a clock instead of relying on the timer. Also it won't come with goggles because the strap/stretchy sting thing that was on it to hold them around your head broke so I just used some white string. Plus I doubt you would want used goggles...I wouldn't.

I'm asking $140 shipped obo. I got it for $300 brand new. I only except pay-pal. If you have any questions just ask. Also, I'll get pictures of it if anyones interested.

Thanks,

Mike

I have a question for people who have problems with wheat/gluten. How long after you eat it does it affect your acne? I saw a post on here where someone said it takes a few days for them to notice. I'm just trying to get a general idea because I cut out certain foods including ones with gluten(well that I know of) and started to eat healthy/healthier a few weeks ago. A few days ago I was actually almost clear except for some red marks but then for about 3 days I ate some wheaties and cheerios for breakfast with rice milk. I also ate a few things that had wheat in them for supper the one night. I started to breakout again after that. Most likely it's just a total coincidence because that's how it usually is for me but this is the first time I feel like I might have found something that I can control to help reduce breakouts. It would make sence since I've always ate bread during almost every meal since I can remember but then again it's probably a 99.9% chance that I just had a random good couple of days.
