AHA burn

I just started using AHA (Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion 10%) yesterday to help reduce my clogged pores & breakouts. I had an emerging pimple last night and put a little extra ontop of if before I went to bed, since I have read that you can also use AHA as a spot treatment. Today it seems like the pimple has gone down but theres a very red ring around it and feels sore like a sunburn, is this a chemical burn? I'm assuming it's from the AHA.. will this always happen, or does my skin just need to adjust?

BP and clogged pores

I've been using BP for about a year now, but recently I've developed several clogged pores and I'm wondering if it could be due to the BP that I'm using? One of it's ingredients is Laureth-4, which I've read can clog pores. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Quitting birth control?

I have only been on birth control now for six days (ortho tri cyclen) & I'm using it for my acne, and ovarian cysts. But ever since I've started using it, I've had terrible side effects that I don't think I can handle for recommended 3 months. If I were to stop now do you think my skin would freak out? I'm not even sure if it has really even been in my body long enough to screw up my hormones?

Birth control?

I've decided after a year of being terrified of trying birth control that I'm going to the Dr. Monday to get prescribed some. I've been to the derm for about 5-6 years now for my mild-moderate acne and nothing they have prescribed me has ever helped even in the least. My question is that I've never noticed a correlation of my breakouts to my periods. I pretty much break out anytime... so I wonder if my breakouts are even hormonal? If they aren't wouldn't birth control make matters worse, or no?

Stopping Septra (Bactrim)

I was put on Septra four days ago and have only taken 7 pills so far, but have not been able to sleep at all ever since I started taking it, and now I'm having dizziness. I am probably going to have to stop taking it but I fear that I'm going to have a bad break out, but since I've only been on it for four days is that likely to happen?
