I'm so happy to see a rosacea forum here. I'm hoping some people could provide some advice as to what's helped them combat rosacea. I went to the derm awhile ago and he gave me Plexion cleansing clothes, Differin, and Solodyn(antibiotic). I haven't used Solodyn for awhile because it's super expensive and I use Differin really sparingly( I don't get much acne anymore thankfully ). I've seen a few supplements recommended from this forum, and I'm taking grape seed extract/pycnogenol and ester-C right now. I'm also using red/blue light therapy w/ a 70 LED acnelamp. I also life weights sometimes.. but I haven't lately. I'm always worried lifting will aggravate my rosacea and my face always gets pretty red. Anyways, that's brief background on what I've been doing for awhile. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions. I would reaaally really appreciate it. Thanks.

Lately, I've been looking around for the nearest dermatolgists that offer laser treatments for rosacea. The only one that is possible for me to goto right now( I don't have a car.. and I'm at college atm ) offers something called VPL. Is this the same as IPL, or some hybrid? Here is the website. Thanks.

I would like to buy some emu oil. I've used jojoba in the past, I imagine it is pretty similar. Can you guys give me recommendations on where/what to buy? Thanks!

Where ever I am I always automatically think about how the rooms lighting, wall color, etc makes me look. Bright lights are always bad, weak lights or lights w/ a yellow tint hides my red complexion alittle. Being outside on a sunny day also brings out my red complexion. I'm always paranoid about it whenever I go anywhere. I hate it but can't help it. I am so jealous of people that can be anywhere not ever have to worry what their complexion looks like. Which lighting conditions do you think makes your skin looks good/ bad?
