Hi. I've been using BP gel with dan's regimen for the past year now, and I have to say I like the old gel better. The new stuff is much more drying and the areas I apply it to turn red almost thirty seconds after I'm finished rubbing it in. The redness usually goes away in one to two hours. Thus, I cannot apply it before school if I don't want to show up looking like I got a localized sun burn.
About three hours ago I put BP gel on my face as usual, but the skin about an inch in all directions from my lips is bright red, burning, and visably dry. I was in so much pain that I had to wash the BP gel off. It hurts to open my mouth, and moisturizer only worsens the problem. Does anyone know what to do to get the redness down?? I don't care about the pain as much as I care about how it'll look come tomorrow when I have to go to school. It really does look pretty damn stupid and I would really appreciate any help. Thank you

Ok this is going to sound pretty weird... but this morning I put some of the new bp gel on my chest (I had just received the tube the night before and until then I was using the old bp gel), and then I went for a run at the gym. Mid way through the jog, my nipples actually started burning. This was, needless to say, pretty damn uncomfortable and strange. I had to stop running because I think body sweat pushed some of the bp gel over them and reacted subsequently.
Be careful when applying this stuff on your chest.

Last tuesday I was shaving OUT of the shower (I was in a rush to go someplace, needed a shave, and didn't have time to shower). Everything looked great, but when I came home that night everywhere the razor touched was broken out horribly. More than a week later, IT'S STILL BREAKING OUT! I have school starting up in a week, and I'm on the regimen. Can anyone offer any advice on how to clear this stuff up fast, and not make the same mistake in the future?
thanks

i ordered three tubes of bp gel a week ago, and they're still not here. usually they take only a few days to get to my address, but this time around it is taking unusally long. i'm starting to break out like crazy as i have run out of bp gel.. what should i use on my face in the mean time, and when will it get here dan?

I have some left over tubes of both Retin-A Micro and Tazorac from when I was perscribed them a few months ago. They're not expired, and have been properly stored since last using. I've heard some rumors flying around saying that these two topicals make red marks go away faster.. I was wondering if anyone could confirm this?
If so, which one is better? Also, I'm on dan's regimen religiously.. should I apply BP to the red marks? |
