why do you think i'm breaking out?

so i stopped proactiv almost 2 weeks ago.
and moved on to more all natural products.
i didn't break out at all.

-i'm washing my face with
plain yogurt day and night.
-witch hazel as my toner
-lemon juice
-and every week i try to do a facial mask to exfoiliate skin

at first, everything was working, until i used my plain yogurt to wash my face.


i'm also on Minocin, and stopped it for a while and just started it up again.
started my period this week.
and i've been kind of on a poor diet. lots of junk.

so why do you think i've been breaking out?

been thinking about switching to more gentle cleanser

so i'm going to stop Proactiv.
don't get me wrong, it cleared up my skin a lot! Now I have a few red scars and a few pimples.

i've recently tried the lemon juice remedy and going to try witch hazel.

should I try a cleanser more gentle? and forget about Proactiv?
I was thinking like Purpose or Cetaphil.
any suggestions?

a little about the real me.
I love to surf, even though i'm extremely horrible at it. but hey, the best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun, right? haha.
3 best friends, whom I've known since the 4th grade.
Even though I have acne, I'm really interested in becoming a dermatologist.

now back to why i'm here. the evil pimples that seem to do the talking for me.

My 2nd year of acne, it became severe and extreme. It was embarassing. There were people who talked behind my back calling me, "pimple face". and I've had cousins come up to me saying, "what happened to your face?" no one can sugarcoat the fact that you have 100's of pimples on your face of different sizes and colors.

Before then, I tried Neutragena (sp?), Acne Free, Boscia, and Murad was the last.
I switched to Proactiv. And it cleared up a lot. But not 100 %. So here I am, the same person looking for an answer. Which probably will take a while.

But I know, underneath all these red bumbs and scars, I am a person that people don't take enough time to get to know.
It's been 3 years.
I am NOT my acne :]
