So,

Not all of us are going to end up having perfect skin...

Just do what you can to improve your skin and go enjoy your life... Life is so short and anything can happen, do you really want to spend the majority of your days in life worrying about something so insignificant? Think about it, don't just read this. Just take five or so minutes and actually think about it.

Try to find a hobby that you absolutely enjoy doing to take your mind off if it is bothering you so much.. Focus on the positives in your life and don't worry too much about the negatives.

The problem is, we always seem to shove the positives out of the way and dwell in self-pity of our negatives and it gets us no where... It's good to vent, but sometimes it becomes a constant habit and we start to use it as an excuse for everything...

If you still feel upset or this got you upset, then go all out.... Get a job, save up money to go for accutane or for scar removal / plastic surgery or anything... You can do whatever you set your mind to.

I haven't posted in here for a while mainly because of the depressing atmosphere. (Fair enough I guess.)

I've been looking at most threads and I've come to a conclusion that you are all trying to be 'perfectionists'. That's cool, we all want to be the best BUT.. We will always have flaws. ALWAYS HAVE FLAWS NO MATTER WHAT. What if you get rid of your acne for good... And got rid of your scars..? What next? You'll probably dwell on your body hair or figure or the size of your nose. It's a never ending cycle yo.

What I'm saying is, do what you can do to help your skin and stop checking everyday for improvements. Go occupy yourselves, don't hide at home because you have a zit.. Dude funk what everyone else thinks, stop trying to impress the world. You will always have haters, you can't impress everyone. And don't tell me "It's for myself brah." because that's the biggest bulloni sammich I've heard.. It's for the oppisite sex I know that. You are also your own worst critic. If you are flawed in one physical area, highlight your others to draw attention to them. If a person won't go out with you because of your skin not being like one of the proactive models on the add then what does that say about them?

And let me tell you and you can believe it or not but, When my acne was at it's worst (cystic to the MAX bro, epitome of cyst.), I lost my virginity to a hot ass bish! I NEVER ONCE cared about my acne. Sure I had moments of "Gah! I got another cherry on my face.." But I lived my life to its fullest. I was always out partying or going to my friends house and doing fun stuff. NO ONE wants acne but it shouldn't stop your life.. Come on man.. far out..

Oh and I have scarring too. Do I care? No, because in time they will fade. And trust me they will. Back in 2006 they were really bad scars, looked like I just got back on my time machine from world war II. Then a couple of year later they look like the ones in my profile pics, and now you can hardly see them... So later in life they will probably be almost gone.

Don't let this BS dominate your life while others around you are out having fun and doing what they love. I still break out... I break out by my lips! Worst place lol.

I know I'm gonna get negative comment feed back and "We are all different" etc etc. But just think about what I said.

Most of you think the end of life is acne lol. You don't know what else is in store for you son.

For the depressed people.

I know this isn't really the section for this but people here are always down and in a negative mood. You soon have to realise that this sort of feeling of hate will not change anything and will only hurt you the more you prolong it..

Ok, I know you have acne and no one in the world wants it.. Fair enough, I used to have real severe acne and it NEVER stopped me from being happy and going out with friends.. Sure there was down times where I thought "Why the hell am I the only one with this?"

But the way I see it, we all have been delt some cards to work with... Some of us don't have such a good deck to start out with.. But if you play your cards right, things can change.. Believe me on that one. I used to always get made fun of by guys at school and teased by the girls of how ugly I was or whatever the reason being.

I couldn't take it anymore, I hated the fact that sometimes I hated myself or my life so I decided to change that.

Highlight your attributes y'all, do whatever you think that will draw attention away from your acne or whatever imprefection you might think you have. Go get a flash hair cut, change your clothes, go to the gym, get a tattoo somewhere I don't care? These things actually make a dramatic difference when you actually think about it.. They bring out your confidence and people actually notice that.. No one notices YOUR acne as bad you do and that's fo'real..

Most people who post their photo's for people to critique don't even look as bad as they make themselves out to be? LOL? You guys are so hard on yourselves..

We can't all be born rich and good looking.. But we can work towards it and better ourselves. And for your information, all those rich and good looking people or whoever you envy have their fair share of problems too you know..

It's all in your hands. It's your life. Live it happily.

I don't know about you guys but that is the lamest thing ever in my eyes. The guy has probably one spot on his face too.

About girls with acne. Curious

I was just curious about girls with acne, when you apply make up do people notice you have acne?? I mean, some of the female members who post I don't seem to see any acne in their avi's? And I don't really seem to notice anything on girls when I'm at a party. Maybe because it's not severe.. Just curious..
