I just finished with doing the regimen tonight, and while I was looking at my skin, I could see more bumps, really teeny, forming. I just started the regimen this morning, and I'm 90% sure they weren't there then, so I'm wondering if this is normal? I thought it went you get clear, then you purge, then your clear? Anyone else have such an immediate reaction? And I'm sure I'm not allergic to the BP because I think I was on it waaaaay back when I was younger, and then I used Proactiv in middle school.
Also, some/a lot of them were in an area that I do not get zits on. I actually got just one zit there a few days ago, but that was a first. So yeah, help would be appreciated! EDIT: Alright so this morning I woke up and immediately checked my skin. Well, the little bumps are gone. Huh. So I guess me new question is- what happened? It seems to be trivial since nothing extremely bad happened.

Day One
Well, I just finished doing the Regimen for the first time! Haha, I had a little problem with the Benzoyl Peroxide dispenser. I kept pumping it, but nothing was coming out. But yeah, I figured that out. It's brand new so yeah, you have to pump it a few times. Other than that, everything went fine! I'm so excited =) But I'm also freaking out about the fact that soon, I'll start purging. Knowing my luck it'll take like 3 months for it to be done. Ah well, I"ll handle it and will not stop! I've been toying with the idea of posting pictures, but I've decided against it. I just spent like twenty minutes trying to take a picture of myself that didn't look butt ugly, but at the same time showed what kind of acne I had. I couldn't =p. I took some sectional pictures, (each cheek, and forehead) and they're okayish. I might put those up instead. But not now, as I need to get my morning started! Quick question- when you guys first started the regimen, using the half a pump of BP, did it take you as long to apply all of it your face as it does Dan in the video? I did it relatively quickly, which makes me think that maybe I'm not taking enough time? I did it gently, and until it looked like everything had been spread in and all. So yeah, most likely the reason is I used a half pump and Dan is using two full pump. Just a question though! Hope everyone is having a great day. =D

Hi everyone!
I'm new to Acne.org and wanted to introduce myself to you all! I'm a sixteen year girl who's just started her summer vacation! I found acne.org a few weeks ago, and wanted to wait until the summer to start it up/ I had to build up the courage to actually try. I just ordered my first starter kit today and am very hopeful! I've had acne for a long long time (elementary school, ridiculous, I know). I tried a lot of different things (though not as much as some of the people here); went to a dermatologist, washing my face every day, proactive, and some other stuff. None of them worked. I'm thinking proactive could have, but it made my face worse and as I didn't know that was supposed to happen, I stopped using it immediately. I hope that with the regimen, I can stick to it and see real results. I just turned sixteen- I want to look good for the rest of high school. Not to mention the emotional aspects of acne- I'm self-conscious and tend to be a little shy around people I don't know. I know that I wouldn't be self-conscious if I didn't have acne, and once you get to know me I'm a loud, out-going girl. So yeah, I want a change. I would say I have moderate acne, maybe mild. I do have many scars &/or hyper-pigmentation. Not sure on that. Probably have both. I'm considering having a gallery of me before and after the regiment; I'll let ya guys know if I do decide to! So yeah! Hoping... =) |
