I am actually experiencing fairly clear skin right now, but I want to know if Yaz is the source of my other problems. In August I developed a dairy allergy (not lactose-intolerance). I stopped eating dairy completely, but I developed awful fatigue, weakness, and headaches. I started to get really bad mood swings and irritability in October/November and all of these health problems either caused depression or were made worse from depression. My doctor sent me to a GI specialist because she believed all my problems were intestinal, but he didn't help much at all. My doctor is literally stumped at what is wrong with me, but she does not doubt that I am suffering. She just can't diagnose the cause of all these side effects. She doesn't think it has to do with birth control, but after reading a lot of posts here I think it may be due to the Yaz.
If anyone has had similar experiences with Yaz, please reply or message me. I really would like to figure out my health problems, its been a hard year. Also, if it IS because of Yaz, do any of you recommend a different birth control to use or do you think my body just hates all forms of BCP?

I'll start with a history of where I think my problems started :I am a 16 year old junior. I took antibiotics for over a year ( I stopped in June), which my doctor told me killed all the good bacteria in my intestines.
I developed lactose - intolerance in August - two month after stopping the antibiotics. I started to get extreme fatigue, headaches, dizzyness, irritability, weakness and aches everywhere in my body. I went to the doctor in early October and she told me to completely stop eating dairy, just in case you are thinking "DUH if you get sick from something don't eat it" you can eat dairy if you take medicine with your first bite of dairy. I have lost 8 pounds since the middle of September, which is extremely horrible because I am already naturally thin, so I look way too thin now. There are some days that I am at an average level of energy and others where I am so tired I can barely stand up or I feel dizzy/weak. This weekend has been especially rough, I went to bed at 6:30 pm on friday and slept until about 8:00 am. Last year I excelled at all my classes and had a 4.5 GPA, this year my grades aren't bad but it is extremely hard for me to do well in class because I lose focus very easily and forget things often. I don't feel like the person I used to be and I really don't know what to do. Sorry this is so long - I think I may have candida, I am not sure if that is the only problem I have. If you have any reliable websites you think I should look at or can relate to anything I am going through, I would truly appreciate it if you posted. Also, I'm sure people reading this are thinking I should just call my doctor, and I have an appointment with her in a week, but she isn't sure what is wrong with me, so I figured I would make a topic just in case anyone has any idea what this is. Thank you

Every single bronzer or blush that I have used has broken me out. I am not sure if it is an allergy but one or two weeks later I will get itchy whiteheads. I want to be able to wear a little bronzer or blush when I go out on the weekends, but I don't want to have to suffer from breakouts.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what products have you found that have worked well?

I figured I would do a poll to help me and others what has worked the best for people.
I tried to find as many options as possible I realize there are more so just post if another was truly successful for you. I am looking for a larger version instead of just a handheld device if anybody wants to throw out some advice I would appreciate it.

So I have Lactose-Intolerance now. I can eat dairy if I take a tablet beforehand, but I still feel a little nauseaous when I take medicine for it. Anyways I was wondering if people have had success omitting dairy from their diet.
I figured that since I am now lactose-intolerant I might as well just completely stop eating dairy. To clear things up - because I had no idea about this: According to Web MD (A fairly reliable website, I'm assuming) "symptoms (of Lactose-Intolerance) usually develop during the teen or adult years." I always assumed that one was only born with Lactose-Intolerance. |
