Hey all...

Could this be the answer we're all looking for?

http://www.articlealley.com/article_128424_28.html

This article makes a VERY valid point.

It basically says that negative thoughts and emotions cause your body to produce toxins. These toxins are later eliminated through your skin.

Why do scientists never bother to research this kind of stuff?

I have started to break out again. I thought it was because of spring being just around the corner, but then I realized...it was still minus six outside despite the fact that the sun was still shining.

Just recently, I realized that I have a Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Coincidence?

I think not.

In case all the chemical-crazy sheeple here have no idea what an anxiety disorder is:

QUOTE
Generalized anxiety disorder is a common chronic disorder that affects twice as many women as men and can lead to considerable impairment (Brawman-Mintzer & Lydiard, 1996, 1997). As the name implies, generalized anxiety disorder is characterized by long-lasting anxiety that is not focused on any particular object or situation. In other words it is unspecific or free-floating. People with this disorder feel afraid but are unable to articulate the specific fear. They fret constantly and have a hard time controlling their worries. Because of persistent muscle tension and autonomic fear reactions, they may develop headaches, heart palpitations, dizziness, insomnia and chest pain. These physical symptoms, combined with the intense, long-term anxiety, make it difficult to cope with normal daily activities.

Have you ever noticed not even one scientist has ever tried to research anxiety being the cause of skin problems? Maybe that is the reason that we have no cure yet. All the pharmaceudical companies are funding bullshit research that proves nothing, and still, all you idiots keep buying all those bullshit cleansers that do nothing but fuel greed. Think about it this way, if acne were to suddenly disappear, several multi-billion dollar corporations would literally implode out of existence. That's why they decided to bribe everyone to keep quiet. Follow the money...

Seriously guys, get your head out of your asses.

And NO, acne is not a "disorder". It's a fucking symptom. Stop lying.

And what do you know? In the last few years of so-called "research", was anything else discovered? Nothing? Sorry, I don't want any more "treatments" for this. And just as I'm writing this sentence, I feel like I'm on the verge of an anxiety attack, just fucking great...

I've wasted 4 years of my life trying to treat my acne using diet, creams, pills, and other bullshit. It did nothing. But then I asked myself...

"Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg?"

Anxiety is not caused because of your acne. It's the other way around.

One more thing: I started experiencing anxiety attacks right after my 13th birthday, which is the exact time I started breaking out.

Now tell me this is just a big coincidence...

Seriously, who thinks these damn commercials should be banned for good?
They do nothing but get some bitchy, whiney celebrities to blatantly lie about crappy skin products.
For example... Jessica Simpson? That was a dead give-away to me that the commercial was pure bullshit. Then theres those other idiots they have in the commercials... THAT DON"T EVEN HAVE SKIN PROBLEMS.
Sure...they show you before & after pictures but you can easily tell that they were edited. It seems whatever channel I watch there is some idiot lying about some bullshit acne product saying about how it "cured" their acne in one night.

In Canada there's this thing called "The Canadian Code of Advertising" to ensure that all advertising is truthful and accurate...but I don't see that doing SHIT about these damn infomercials.

Okay so finally! Here are some pictures of my acne, and the scarring as well.

So what do you guys think on a scale of 1-10?
Is it very visible?

Just as a side note. I'm 100% sure this is hormonal acne (or whatever it's called). I used to have cysts when I was 13, but I'm 16 now, so It's not as bad anymore.

Okay, So I was on accutane for 4 weeks, and then I told my doctor that I pretty much cleared up completely except for some pigmentation and moderate scarring (which I'm going to take care soon). I've now been post-accutane for 3 weeks now and I experienced a few very tiny breakouts, I think it's just "pushing" the rest of the crap out.

So currently, I have about 3 moderately-sized pimples, 3-4 lumps on my jawline and around my earlobe that are barely visible, and some pigmentation that is healing up pretty quick. Probably because I've been drinking a lot of Green tea lately...

So Now my main concern is the disgusting scars, One scar kind of looks like a over-sized blackhead (could be pigmentation) with a rolling scar underneath and a lot of small, shallow icepicks mainly on my cheeks, forehead, and temple areas.

So what do you guys think I should do about the scarring? I considered bio-oil but theres an ingredient in it that is well-known to clog your pores. I think my best bet is laser treatment. biggrin.gif

I would upload a few pics but unfortunately my camera has no batteries at the time and my cell is dead so yeah...D:

What kinds of laser treatments should I look into? Ideas?
