Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to share whatever limited knowledge I have of products in Canada (I'm located in Toronto). Please share with everyone where you have found the lowest prices for certain products. Let's help each other out!
I've only recently begun to start buying OTC products, and I've quickly learned that Shoppers Drug Mart isn't the cheapest place! Don't fall for the lure of the optimum card! lol... [-X
Here's what I found so far:
*Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15 - Dominion's ($11.99 + tax)
*Neutrogena On-The-Spot 2.5% BP - Dominion's ($8.99 + tax) --> (Shoppers drug mart $7.99 + tax on sale once)
*Clean & Clear Blackhead Scrub Exfoliant - Zellers ($7.77 + tax) [updated]
*Clean & Clear Contiuous Control 5% BP - Dominion's ($8.49 + tax)
Needless to say, I shouldn't have gone to Shoppers Drug Mart first. I would've saved myself a good chunk of change eh? (Ya Canada!)

Name of Clini is 8-11 clinic.
Consultation $10-$20.
1 box of 30 capsules of 20mg Roaccutance cost me $180.
Pls
*list location,
*name of clinic,
*dermatologist or normal GP,

*Cost of roaccutance and its mg.
Think this comparision will help people to choose the clinic.

This will be the thread for Filipinos. Ask away.
Any Filipinos here tried Acne Plus (RX) sold in mercury drugstore? My derm prescribed it to me, saying it's good with already inflamed acne? Has anyone tried it? I just don't know if this is the one i'll use to spot-treat

The dry and cold winter can be very damaging to your hair. Hair easily becomes dry during this time of year from the dry indoor heating and the dry cold weather outside. Proper preventative steps need to be taken during this seasons to ensure that your hair does not get damaged.
Winter Hair Care Tips
Wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from the cold and wind, but make sure that it's not so tight that it will restrict circulation in your scalp.
Use a hair straightener(http://www.hairstraightenerfashion.com) daily.
Once you have your hair moist, lock in the moisture by running your hair through cold water, this will also give your hair an extra shine.
Don't go outside with your hair wet, you risk breakage; your hair will freeze if it's cold enough outside and may break.
Limit your use of "hot" items on your hair such as a blow dryers and curling irons.
If you need to use a "hot" item use a leave in conditioner before using the item on your hair.
Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water, use warm or cool water instead, the heat can dry out and/or damage your hair and skin.
Hair products that have the word, "Replenish" on it is made to moistureize your hair. You should consider to use the hair straightener(http://www.hairstraightenerfashion.com) such as CHI hair straightener and GHD hair straightener
Try using a dry shampoo if you need to wash out your hair, one dry shampoo you can use is baby powder, simply sprinkle some onto your hair and use a comb to comb it off

I'm looking at encouraging my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation to leave my cheeks...so I'm thinking of getting a quality glycolic peel (or anything similar) to do at home. But being in Australia, it seems I'm pretty limited as to what I can get, and I'm hesitant to spend money online without knowing I'm paying for a quality product.
Any pointers? First-hand experience or otherwise?

Hi,
I'm moving to Germany in the next few weeks and wanted to know if it's possible to buy Benzoyl Peroxide there. I've been using Dan's regime (Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar + BP) for the past 4 years and it's cured my extreme acne.
As a cleanser I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar which can't see being too hard to find an alternative it's finding BP that I'm worried about.
I did a search for Germany in International Regimen Supplies but it mostly brings up old threads with mixed results.
One thread from 2006 shows you can get it as Sanoxit 2,5% but in another thread there's a post that BP is banned in the european union.
Does anybody in Berlin/Germany know if or where I can buy Benzoyl Peroxide? or should I try to bring over enough to last me a few years from Canada when I move?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone

I'm desperately trying to find a good 10% AHA cream that comes in a LAAAAAAAARGE tube. I was thinking something like 16 oz.
I'm getting sick and tired of those small 1.5 oz tubes that only last a couple of weeks.
Does anybody know a brand that sells AHA in these amounts?

Hi All!
I am a U.S. citizen living in Holland - And I am not a fan of buying stuff online. I recently found that bp (benzoyl peroxide) is available in Holland, but only at the pharmacy (apotheek) and miraculously without a doctor's RX (for about €3,00 per tube).
BP in Holland is sold (what I have found out so far) only in 5% and 10% -- I am used to the 2.5% in America. Over-the-counter products like Clearasil and Neut. are sold here, but they are without BP! (I don't see how the stuff could even work without that magic ingredient!)
I wonder if there are any Dutch (or German/Deutsch members - I live close enough to the German border to go buy something there, if need be) citizens who can give me any pointers on which products sold over-the-counter are available here! Your help will be greatly appreciated!
I would like to know what the best cleansing soaps are and which facial lotion seems to work best. And any suggestions for who/what/where to find alpha hydroxy here too? Is it/are they available at winkels like Kruidvat, DA, Trekpleister, Douglas or Etos?
Groetjes van Holland!
Amy

Hey everybody,
For any potential dutch folks around here who need a good moisturizer that is non-comedogene and helps reduce flakyness by 100%!
Available at the local pharmacy: 'Toleriane Verzachtende Beschermende Creme voor de gevoelige huid' van La Roche-Posay.
When I first started the regimen I experienced an awesome load of dryness and flaking of my skin, especially around my chin-area. I tried using a lot of different stuff, and this one hydrated and cured my skin in an instance!
It is a little expensive I think, I paid 15 euro's for 40ml.
So if you are looking for an awesome moisturizer and get rid of you flaking skin, go with La Roche-Posay!

I though it would be more beneficial to have one main thread for all the aussies, instead of individual threads spread randomly around this topic.
Anyway....
Here we can talk about medication, products, make-up etc, that we use and places in Australia we can find them.
Also talk about what meds you are using, how they are affecting you and their success rate.
Or just tell us whats happening in your life and any other OT stuff...
And this might be a bit corny but a topic we could start with, could be how having acne, pimples whatever (has) affects/ed us in life etc.
--------------------
I have moderate acne and im currently using Oratane (2 and a half months so far)... i still have pimples and am a bit dubious about it working for me...
But i have to admit I feel alot better about myself then i did before that 2 and a half months.
I also have a question: Are there any foods that causes breakouts or are there any that affect you in particular ? Because i think bread is causing me to break out.

Hi,
I've been on Diane 35 for 5 weeks now. Let me tell, u I broke out soooooo badly the first 2 weeks. Then I even found out that I have severe allergies to grass and trees so that was also contributing to my breakout. LUCKY ME

Anyways, recently I've started noticing an improvement. I only got 2 new ones, before I used to get 7 or 8 all at once. (watch I just jinxed myself) I have soooo many scars though. I've also notice I have many tiny bumps in between my eyes and my chin. Honestly, I would rather the little ones then those painful cysts. I hope I'm on the road to recovery. My doctor estimated I wouldn't see results until 6-8 weeks. Anyways, I would appreciate any feedback good or bad.
Thanks

Hello.
I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask this question, but I think this is the place to ask. Do you ship the Regimen to Norway? I saw somewhere that you don't ship to Sweden, which made me a bit suspicious (for a lack of a better word)

hey guys!
so I've done some research and finally realized that the only person that could help me with my acne is someone that has gone through the same products and regimens that I've gone through and has the same skin type as me... and I figured I'd find that someone here. Good thinking right? Haha, I sure do hope so.
So I started breaking out when I was in the 5th grade which was when I was 11.
ELEVEN!! it killed me. As I got older, the acne got worse and to this day (I'm seventeen now) it's still very bad.
Right now i have about 5 really big deeeep papsules all on my right lower cheek. My friends are constantly teasing me saying i have constellations on my face. haha, i guess it is just something i have to get used to.
I break out almost everyday. New ones always seem to appear on my upper lip which are the worst because it's like having a canker sore outside your mouth haha. grrrr. I used to break out a lot on the t-zone but now it's migrated to my upper and lower cheeks.
SO! the products i have used so far are:
La Roche Posay - did absolutely NOTHING. and it was about 40 dollars for the whole line.
Clean and Clear Acne Wash - Made my skin very dry to the point where i couldn't open my mouth to laugh. i love laughing..........
ProActive - It worked for the first week and then all of a sudden it was like i was washing my face with poison. The only thing that ProActive did for me was it made me break out even MORE.
Right now i'm using the Neutrogena Advance Solutions.
I've been using this for about 5 months now. It actually worked REALLY WELL and i had clear skin for about 3 months. But all of a sudden i'm starting to break out again and i don't know whether to stop and search once again for something that could replace this or keep using it and pray that i'll get clear skin again.
so who out there can give me some advice?
some words of encouragement?
who wants to be my hero? lol

Which is better to use?
Brevoxyl = Creamy formulation with 4% BP
Panoxyl = Light formulation with 2.5% BP
A doctor I went to prescribed Brevoxyl a few years ago....and i have tried Panoxyl before.
But I am just starting the Regimen and want to know which one works best.
Thanks

Hi guys , havent been on here for a long time.
I just came to see what you guys thought about the quinoderm face wash?
Im currently using for my regimin , Quinoderm face cleansing wash, quinoderm5, and then aqueous cream (a very basic mosturiser, which isnt non-comodogenic

)
I must admit im pleasently suprised with the face wash, it doesnt foam up to much so your skin maintains good contact with the antibacterial agents, and I genuinly feel clean and fresh after using it
Has anyone else used the face wash?

Before starting on the Regimen I was using an oil free moisturiser which worked great, but now it's not good enough. I am really suffering with redness and flakes which are a pain especially as I won't go without foundation, I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation and I'm just not at that point yet.
So I'm wondering if anyone in the UK can recommend me a moisturiser? Preferably oil-free. I don't want to use Dan's as I can't use jojoba, I used it as the oil cleansing method last year and it is what destroyed my skin in the first place, it's never recovered. I also can't use Olay products, as I'm very sensitive to them. Arg!

Hello Malaysians,
Good to find this site which discuss about acne problems. Start from the regime and recommended products. I'm opening this thread to find as many followers from Malaysia to share experiences here. I know got few thread but why not we just combine here. Can?
Mod, please delete if I'm out of the rules. >.<
Ok, now.....my skin problem can be considered as moderate. I never take it serious until I notice my acne and pimples getting more and more! I feel sorry for myself and I decided to find a way how to control it.
I started the regime for about 1 month already. hehe..it's better late than never and I'm using Cetaphil Gentle Skin cleanser, PanOxyl 2.5 and Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer. As the treatment for blackheads and whiteheads, I use Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel. I get these recommendation products from one of my friend here.
Results? I can say that BIG white and reddish pimple start to get smaller. Even not too much but I hope I can get better result after this.
BTW, I was thinking to try acne.org products too after I read some reviews about it but where can I get here? Anyone supply?

I wanted to share with you where I found my supplies and what I got.
BP - BENZOIL PEROXIDE
Fate sapere!
