Just wanted to share whatever limited knowledge I have of products in Canada (I'm located in Toronto). Please share with everyone where you have found the lowest prices for certain products. Let's help each other out!

I've only recently begun to start buying OTC products, and I've quickly learned that Shoppers Drug Mart isn't the cheapest place! Don't fall for the lure of the optimum card! lol... [-X

Here's what I found so far:
*Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15 - Dominion's ($11.99 + tax)
*Neutrogena On-The-Spot 2.5% BP - Dominion's ($8.99 + tax) --> (Shoppers drug mart $7.99 + tax on sale once)
*Clean & Clear Blackhead Scrub Exfoliant - Zellers ($7.77 + tax) [updated]
*Clean & Clear Contiuous Control 5% BP - Dominion's ($8.49 + tax)

Needless to say, I shouldn't have gone to Shoppers Drug Mart first. I would've saved myself a good chunk of change eh? (Ya Canada!)

- is she takes good care of flakiness and dryness??? (I am very flaky )
- is it not comedogenic? really ???

I just stumbled upon this site a few days ago and im gonna give Dan's Regime a try. I hav Moderate Acne with lots of Blackheads in my nose and chin and more than acne i hav tons and tons of red marks on my face.

I used Bengel Gel 2.5% a long time ago....and i think this will work for the regime.
Now im totally confused abt wht cleanser and moisturizer to use

I am currently using Nivea Visage Purifying water cleanser for over a month now, its ok for my skin...ie. to say the acne has not worsened and it keeps my skin dry and not oily..
Previously I was using Speelac Gel which was prescribed by a Derm...that worked pretty well too...i stopped using that becuz i was using it for over a year and i read this article abt medicated products leading to cancer of the skin which really freaked me out!

Is it ok to keep using the Nivea Cleanser or should i go in for some other cleanser...suggestions plz.

I hav never ever used Moisturizer in my whole life... Which product shd i use.

And i also hav this doubt abt the regime...after applying the BP shd i apply the moisturizer after the Bp dries??? And wht if my skin does not dry after the Bp shd i just skip the Mosurizer?!

I would love LOVE to try the DKR one, but I don't own a credit card, so it looks like I can't use that.

Anyone have any ideas for similar ones?

I saw some products by Cetaphil but I'm not sure which to try.

Also what BP products do you use?

I have both Brevoxyl and Basiron, but I'm currently using Oxy-On-The-Spot 2.5%BP I bought from the UK.

I don't use a cleanser yet.

I am trying this moisturizer : «Effaclar H » LA ROCHE POSAY (French product but you can buy it in Europe (France, Swizerland, Belgium, and other country I think (?))
It is a moisturizer for dry skin that are on acne treatment.

I am not sure if it is not comedogenic …I'm afraid …

The ingredients are :

Has anyone used "Hanskin" skincare products? I heard its very popular in asia and its very good for sensitive and acne skin.

I'm looking for a good gentle cleanser, but is seems that almost every cleanser for acne-prone skin contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Google shows that most people agree that SLS is comedogenic. I'm the first to admit that this isn't a very reliable source, but i don't want to take any chances.

Can anyone give me some advice concerning SLS?

May gumagamit din ba ng moisturizer na ito?

I though it would be more beneficial to have one main thread for all the aussies, instead of individual threads spread randomly around this topic.

I have moderate acne and im currently using Oratane (2 and a half months so far)... i still have pimples and am a bit dubious about it working for me...

But i have to admit I feel alot better about myself then i did before that 2 and a half months.

I also have a question: Are there any foods that causes breakouts or are there any that affect you in particular ? Because i think bread is causing me to break out.

I've been on Diane 35 for 5 weeks now. Let me tell, u I broke out soooooo badly the first 2 weeks. Then I even found out that I have severe allergies to grass and trees so that was also contributing to my breakout. LUCKY ME Anyways, recently I've started noticing an improvement. I only got 2 new ones, before I used to get 7 or 8 all at once. (watch I just jinxed myself) I have soooo many scars though. I've also notice I have many tiny bumps in between my eyes and my chin. Honestly, I would rather the little ones then those painful cysts. I hope I'm on the road to recovery. My doctor estimated I wouldn't see results until 6-8 weeks. Anyways, I would appreciate any feedback good or bad.

I've been using "Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser" on the regimen for a week now. But from reading the board i hear it's counter-productive to use it with BP, as it contains salicylic acid.

Any Filipinos here tried Acne Plus (RX) sold in mercury drugstore? My derm prescribed it to me, saying it's good with already inflamed acne? Has anyone tried it? I just don't know if this is the one i'll use to spot-treat

Okay, So im just starting this new combination of products and would like your opionions or experinces with these. Im using PanOxyl clear acne cleansing gel with 2% salicylic acid and triclosan 0.5% and im also using Dalacin* T Clindamycin phosphate 1%, None of these products have Benzoyl peroxide so im thinking of finding a product that does, Anyway so yeah

I love Cetaphil cleanser and will like to try their moisturing lotion. However Singapore does not sell the one with SPF15, so I am order from US. In order to get cheaper shipping rates, I am buying more bottles. If anyone will like to get it from me, pls let me know.
