I had a V-beam procedure done three days ago. There was severe bruising, and on some bruises, there were black 'scabs'. Today, just about 7 hours ago, one of the 'scabs' looked raised and I peeled it off. It came off rather easily but what is left behind underneath where the scab was is a round and slightly deep indent with approximately 1/5 mm diameter. The surrounding bruise around and covering the indent is still dark purple/red.
My question is: Is this round indent permanent or will it fill up over the next few weeks, given that the 'scab' might have been dead skin and that bruising promotes healing of the skin? If this indent is permanent, will future V-beam sessions take care of it and fill it up? Informed replies much appreciated.

Ultimate Goal by 180408 (my last day in compulsory military service; coincidentally my baptism anniversary.):
1. clear skin: no more active acne AND red marks faded away 2. increase in muscle mass - current: 67 kg; target: 76 kg DAY 2 reality check forehead completely clear. a couple of whiteheads below lip. mild-moderate acne on both cheeks: 5-6 active pimples on left cheek; 5-6 active pimples on right cheek, including two with obvious whiteheads. red marks on both cheeks due to previous acne, including one on each cheek which look like indentations (i hope they aren't.) no sign of redness, though there are a few red marks on my chin which appeared from nowhere today and there doesn't seem to be any acne developing underneath it. strange. treatment thus far cleanser: cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, medication: neutrogena on-the-spot b.p. moisturizer: neutrogena oil-free moisture may have overdone the b.p. last night. left out moisturizer this morning. further plans 1) buy zinc - take 50 mg on a daily basis. 2) take 4000 mg of fish oil capsules on a daily basis. 3) cancel this sunday's appointment with aesthetician. will no longer see him while i am on the regimen. 4) workout tomorrow morning - do regimen AFTER that. |
