hello,
I haven't been posting for a while, and my last post was just about my skin condition getting pretty bad.
Yesterday I have had a dermatologist visit. She's definitely a good professionist, I've immediately notice that.
After watching my face with a big lens + a big white lamp, she's decided I have nodulo-cystic acne, and therefore all the products i've used so far are useless. I've said 'what about benzoylperoxide?' and she's answered that BP is a great product, maybe one of the best outta there (she also known acne.org, which made me smile smile.gif) but it can't do anything for almost any kind of acne which is worse than mild-moderate.
While i thought she was going to put me on oral antibiotics, she just said 'Do you know what Roaccutane is?'. Obviously i do know what it is, and what cons it can have.
Anyway, she's said i'm a tipical (Ro)accutane subject and i'll have great results...
I really hope what she said is true, i'm starting tomorrow...
I'm leaving BP and moving to Roaccutane, BP gave me great results, but i'm very tired of being one of the only guys with acne at university, i really couldn't take it anymore...

that's all, tell me 'good luck' please smile.gif
btw, i'll start my accutane log in a few hours, i'll paste the link here too tongue.gif

I like that your derm knew about Acne.org, that's pretty awesome.

Good luck with your course! Accutane's the best thing around for nodulocystic acne.

Keeping me clear, morning and night: Acne.org Cleanser, Acne.org Jojoba Oil after cleansing but before BP all over face, 1 1/2 pumps of Acne.org benzoyl peroxide, Acne.org moisturizer (morning only), Banana Boat Baby Sunblock SPF 50 (morning only), JASON 5000 IU Vitamin E Revitalizing Moisturizing Cream around eyes only, Acne.org AHA+ Acne.org Salicylic Acid+ beta version (night only)

My advice for Acne.org Regimen beginners - Using jojoba oil as a mask/scrub to remove flakes and moisturize dry skin - Summary of exfoliation methods to try with the regimen

Not here as often anymore, so for the timeliest advice, post your questions on the forums for the whole community to help out with rather than contacting me directly :)
