Question about Accutane Dose

I am on 40mg per day. Started this week, I wanted to ask when did you start to see an improvement in your skin? I can't wait to see some results. Also, if you are on 40mg a day did you experience mild or severe dryness? what would be the best brand of lip balm to use?

I am 24 yr old guy, still dealing with acne so decided to take the plunge and try my luck with Accutane. This is my first time dealing with this drug so I have a lot to learn. Just from reading these other logs the past hour it has given me the first sign of hope in a long time.



I have moderate and persistant acne, mostly along the forehead, temples, chin and back. I am supposed to take 40mg once a day in 12 hour intervals for around 6 months or more at this stage. Just had my bloodwork done a few days ago and i'm ready to battle this thing once and for all.

I will try to post photos when and if I see some improvement. Wish me luck.
